Hello,
My name is chris, I like to post about my favorite things such as, Lana Del Rey, fashion, nature, and music!
I love movies such as The Black Swan, The Craft, and all horror movies.
Why must I carve the scars into me?
When will it end, when will I see?
Every chance that drifts through my hands
Feels like a curse I can’t understand.
The mirror betrays me, it’s cruel and unkind,
My ruin is written in the weight of my mind.
I’m a fallen angel, weeping overseas,
My tears ignite flames that scatter the seas.
Down boulevards broken, in shoes I can’t keep,
I stumble through roses and silently bleed.
But someday the sky will open for me
And I’ll step through the fire, untethered, free.
The days slip past like smoke in the breeze,
I’m caught in a silence that brings me to my knees.
Velvet skies hide the stars from my eyes,
I whisper to heaven, why, why, why?
Neon lights blur but they don’t reach me,
I’m drowning in shadows only I can see.
Would the end taste sweet, like a lullaby?
Or just another heartbreak passing me by?
I pray for release, I ache to be free,
But I’m caged in the ghost of the boy in me.
And in that moment the sweetness of my smile
Couldn’t overthrow the sour taste he got from looking at me
I knew it was over not in fire, but in the flickering absence of it.
My name fell like a dull coin into a well no echo, no wings. Once, it stirred a colony of fireflies in his gut now, nothing but ash and the soft hum of forgetting.
My voice, once a velvet blade, now grazes blunt, bloodless.
Love lingers yes a bruise beneath skin, fading.
I mourn, but it is a clean sorrow. Necessary. I was a house of thorns, and he lived there barefoot
If my love were a tree, it would’ve grown roots deep enough to hold the earth still for you because even when the earth stands still, your eyes pull tides in me slow, endless motion. you bring life where death used to grow.
It blooms in me
a thousand roses from one touch,
And if I can't be your tree let me be the wild rose bush we build our home upon, fragile but blooming, enough to weather the wind and hold our hearts steady.
I’ve never met someone quite like you you speak the same silences I do. We move through the world like reflections that almost touch.
Your face stays with me long after youvegone a flicker at the edge of thought, not loud but constant.
I still remember the first night your hands, warm as breath, not asking for anything, just being there. And that was enough.
Your smile doesn’t dazzle it undoes. Something in me falls a little out of place when you look at me like that.
Theres something about you I can’t quite name so I hold yourhand like it might explain everything if I’m quiet enough to listen
I hate the way your silence lands— like soft ash after something burning. I hate the hollow in your two-word replies, how they echo louder than love songs ever could. I hate the thrill I feel when you text back, only to drown in the stillness you leave behind.
I hate not knowing where I stand— a boy half in the light, half on the edge. I hate how my affection startles you, like I’m handing you fire instead of flowers. And most of all, I hate how I gaslight myself into calm, whispering, “You’re too much again, darling.”
But God— I love the way I feel in your arms, how the world softens and sighs around us. I love the way your touch hums on my skin, like summer thunder or a forbidden hymn. I love your eyes when they find mine, how they gleam like sins waiting to happen.
Your voice is velvet, wet with secrets and smoke— you speak and it feels like poetry bleeding. Your kiss tastes like a promise you never quite made but I believed anyway.
I love that you let the world see me beside you, like I’m not the broken boy I battle in mirrors You make me feel— for a moment— like I might be beautiful.
But love, the ending’s in your hands now. We can burn slow, or fade out like a sad song left unfinished. We can live this truth or run like ghosts down opposite streets. It’s your move. But darling— I’d rather you stay.
I was at coachella,
Leaning on you shoulder.
Absolute goddess.
