I am launching a new reading series in Brooklyn this month and I hope you'll come hear these wonderful folks. The title (and artwork) for the series comes from the 1962 Gabriel Garcia Marquez book in which a village mayor uses his power to exact revenge on his political enemies during a time of unrest amongst the people. Sound familiar? This is the evil hour. The theme for this first edition (I hope to do it bi-monthly) is "Past Lives."
