Can’t stop drawing him
‘Where do you estimate we belong, Ms Keeler?’
‘You? At his side, as if you’ve always been there and always will.’
Wishing everyone a fantastic holiday season. Hugs for everyone!
I enjoy painting as a hobby. Definitely not a professional. But recently have made a stab at the Enterprise. I wanted to tackle an X-Wing for my nephew as a Christmas present this year. Got a little singed on the way to hit the Death Star. Hope everyone enjoys it. Perhaps a little rough around some of the edges...
16 x 20 on a wood panel. Completed 9/15/24.
A voice for the ages…RIP.
I normally don't put my creations up on here. I like to paint (oils), landscapes mostly. Over the past year I started to experiment with vehicles and the like (an airplane or two, a couple of lighthouses, and a New Orleans streetcar for a few). So I tried the good old original Enterprise. Not perfect by any means. But I'm not a professional either. Bottom line, I had fun and am working on some techniques for future paintings. I do have an X-Wing up on the agenda soon. So we'll see. Thanks for my personal indulgence. This is a gift for a friend. 16 x 20 on a wood panel. Completed 7/23/24. Behind one of those lights, Capt. Kirk is sweet talking some alien woman. :)
I’ve been compiling a complete SR-72 timeline dating back to when design work seems to have started in 2006, up through rumors of its delivery to the Air Force in recent weeks.
Are you guys sick of SR-72 stuff, or should I make this a video?

“One of my earliest Space Colony paintings was based on the giant ‘Model 3’ cylindrical habitats envisioned by Gerard O'Neill. I imagined the clouds forming at an ‘altitude’ around the rotation axis.” ~artist Don Davis
