Closing time? That can’t be right, it’s only…"—!" Upon looking at his wrist watch, Gilbert realized how time flew without him noticing it. He looked back at his book, noticing how there were only a few more pages before he finished it completely. It was a big book of history that only focused on the love affairs of monarchs. It was an interesting read and it kept him busy. Busy enough to lose track of time.

Shutting the book down, he smiled apologetically at the seemingly kind miss, “Sorry, I felt gossipy about old and dead people." He raised the book up for her to see what he’s been reading.

"It's okay, really." She smiled at him, "I swear, it is." She looked at his book, her curiosity peaked. Her lips curled into a grin, "Oh that book! It's really good, I fully recommend it!"

Gilbert found himself in Eathaven once again, this time, choosing to head to the library for a quick browse. He had his own library back at home, but he needed new reads. Plus, the library in town was strangely more comforting. In fact, it was too comforting, he didn’t realize he stayed there until closing time. Someone approached him, and with his senses that prevented anyone from sneaking up on him, he looked up. “Yes?" He asked innocently, unaware of the time.

Felice loved her job, both the bookstore ownership and the cupid job, though she wouldn't tell anyone about the latter. A while ago, she noticed an albino man come in though here, and now it was almost closing time.

She walked up to him and smiled, tapping his shoulder, though he turned around before she laid a finger on him. Curious, though she quickly got back to her topic. "Ah, sir. It's almost closing time."

Cupid's Arrows || open

Felice wasn't great with keeping things in track. She sadly, probably wouldn't ever be. She had to find these arrows, the only things that probably made her think she was still an angel and she had some importance left, even if she was never given a new one or would ever get one until she found her Grace.

She sighed as she continued to look, hoping, just hoping that maybe there would be someone to come along with her and help her look, though they would probably never find them.

First Meeting ~Open~

It was a bright day— a perfect one to be outside.

Emil glanced up to the sky with a small pout on his face, his hand moving to shade his eyes from the bright sun. With a scoff, he shook his head and started down the path to Easthaven. Today was a special day, and Emil wasn’t in the mood to take the long walk to Hullin for the day. Maybe it was time for a small break.

As he walked down the streets, Emil hummed a small tune to himself. It was something new, a song he’d take the time to write later. Or maybe not. Maybe Emil should just taken a break from work for the day. He couldn’t remember the last time he’d taken even a bit of time for himself. He was always working. But then again…

Emil loved his job. Playing the fiddle was something he found enjoyable. That was the reason he played it daily. Never once had he grown tired of plucking and pulling the strings, or of dragging his bow and fingertips over them. Never had he gone a day without tuning the damn thing. It was his most prized possession.

And so, Emil set up his usual biding in the square. His fiddle case sat opened at his feet as he stood in the middle of the street bustling with people. Raising his fiddle to rest on his shoulder, he raised his bow.

“Happy birthday, Emil. May it bring you luck and fortune.” He muttered to himself before he started to play, sending beautiful music throughout the busy town center, encouraging people to stop and relax, to listen to him play if only for a bit.

Felice wasn’t exactly going in any particular direction, which probably lead to her wandering, finding herself in town square. It’s not that she did or didn’t mind here, she just really wish she could find her way home to curl up into a nice book.

Till she heard the music anyway, it was beautiful. Entrancing.

She hadn't had many opportunities to hear good, hand played music. So when she heard the fiddle being played, she immediately tracked down who was playing it and sat down, watching him awestruck.
