I moved here in July of 2012 without as much as an idea of what I wanted. I was VERY much a different person — withheld, lacking confidence, no clue on what I wanted. I leave this house so much more of a better person. I’m super grateful for those who I have met along the way, and forever grateful to my family for the opportunity to even live here and do what I needed to do. This has been SUCH a long time coming. I’ve been in California for almost 10 years, but I’m finally stepping out here on my own. I’m SO excited you don’t even know…. So I don’t take photos all that often because I’m always working, but while at work today I was compelled to take a picture of the sky outside. This was not long before a big rainstorm and hailstorm came through the area. I dunno what it was today, but something drew me outside to just take a moment and pause. So I went with it. I’ll long for the day where the political climate in our country isn’t as tumultuous and crazy, where every person has an opinion and discussion, not yelling, is the normal. Out with the old, in with the new! It's been a long time coming, but we traded in the 2003 Ford Explorer and got a 2013 Nissan Altima 3.5SL! I'm very excited and happy to move on to the next chapter. Rock hit my windshield wiper on the way to work. Thankfully this prevented a broken windshield but driving without a wiper blade is dangerous. Would not advise. What matters is that I'm okay and I just had to get a new wiper blade. Could have been worse.

Sometimes it's really easy to let others and their actions and words affect us and how we operate. It's more difficult to realize that their word and actions only matter if you let them. Sometimes it's hard to realize that there is more than what's in front of you.
