Crushing on the @nyxcosmetics_newzealand Cosmic Metals Lip Creams right now. I bought a set containing a mixture of these and the Liquid Suedes to swatch on a whim and they're so pigmented! The formula is quite fluid and I haven't wear tested yet but I love the look. Full review will be up on the blog when I've been able to test more extensively. This is Speed Of Light 😍

Finished this sweet design by @shannon.christine.designs from @xstitchmagazine Summer 2017 for Noel's BFF Paige's birthday recently and was pleased to be able to gift it to her this weekend. Noel picked out the design himself and after some pondering decided it had to be a cat for his animal loving friend. I left out the French knots and border the original pattern calls for and framed it with an ornate op shop find.

Here's the start of a wee mini series of sorts. Since the birth of my daughter, my blogging has been all over the place as I've juggled the new normal, struggled with motivation and finding my place in an increasingly competitive environment when you know what... I really CBF competing. I started blogging out of enjoyment and that's how it should stay. Everything else (pr, sponsorship etc) is just a bonus. I've made awesome friends through blogging and had a lot of support from them and local friends, not to mention my family, who were great listening ears while I deliberated over the future of the blog. So this series of makeup looks is a nod to them for their support. New @davinesofficial goodies from @be.sustainable to keep my hair happy - thanks, guys! I've been playing with this Alchemic duo for a month or two now and my hair is really loving it. My hair is colour damaged, thick but easily weighed down (the irony, I know!) & needs a lot of hydration. This delivers, the shampoo cleanses gently but thoroughly, the conditioner is luxuriantly hydrating but a little goes a long way, and both add shine. If this sounds like your hair, I recommend giving the Davines Alchemic range a whirl! #prsample #gifted
