The above featured 3DS sold out of pre-orders in 15 minutes. Several of the biggest Majora’s Mask fans I know did not get one. This has become a problem, and we need to stop it!
What can you do? As Link said, don’t buy it from these selfish re-sellers! Don’t pay more than retail price! Refuse to play their game!
Another thing you can do is contact Nintendo, by email or phone. I’ve spoken to them already, and they know about this problem, but we need to encourage them to stop it. And they can! If they make unlimited pre-orders to ensure that those who truly want one for themselves can get it from Nintendo directly this will never happen again, not with amiibos, not with special editions, not with limited editions—it would stop. So Link and I are asking you to take on this sidequest and make a difference. With patience and determination, you might earn more than just a piece of heart.

It’s not just collectors and fans who are affected, think of all the disappointed children out there! This behaviour is unacceptable!
Okay, can we talk about this? I have never been more disgusted with an adult in my entire life. SHE CALLED LEELAH’S BEST FRIEND AND TOLD HER NOT TO COME TO THE FUNERAL. HOW EVIL AND DISGUSTING DO YOU HAVE TO BE TO ACHIEVE THIS LEVEL OF IDIOCY. She already had to deal with losing Leelah, but then she wasn’t allowed to watch her get laid to rest??? And on top of that, she was yelled at and blamed for spreading the photo of Leelah and telling her story? What the fuck????????
GUYS BLOW THIS UP
New blog is up and running.
PM me for my new blog.
I WILL NO LONGER BE USING THIS BLOG
So if you want my new blog, please PRIVATE MESSAGE me and I will give you the link to my new blog when it is up and running. OR you can ask me for my Skype name and Gmail email address.
Ugh, I fucking hate this site and all of the petty drama bullshit that ensues.
I'm going to fucking quit this site. If you want my info, ask me for it now.
Maybe If I wasn't so off-putting, people would actually want to talk to me, lol.
But I'm quickly learning who my real friends are...
Me: Why, did you want to talk to me or something?
Friend: not rly
Me: Oh... Okay. See you later I guess
I like your art because it looks soft and delicate but... I hope I'm not being rude (because is the last thing I want to be with you, since I admire you and stuff) but all of your drawings have the same bland expression. Like, it's true that you post something new almost daily, but they all kinda look the same
hi anon,
This is sort of an interesting expectation you bring up. This is my personal blog filled with art that I draw almost exclusively for myself. This is what my hand does naturally when I’m not working, illustrating for clients, etc. Tumblr doesn’t pay me to make content, this is purely for my own enjoyment.
And it’s interesting, this sort of expectation of artists on the internet, that this art is somehow this free source of content for people to consume/save/upload/edit at their whim. Or that the artist is somehow expected to take unsolicited requests or do something different from what they clearly enjoy.
The fact of the matter is that I do draw the similar things frequently. My art does tend to look the same. I struggle with a large number of things, including hands and interesting posing, and composition and storytelling. My faces are not as expressive as I would like. But this is what I do between commissions and clients, when I’m tired from work and I want to do something from muscle memory.
I happily take direction from my clients, if they want an adjustment on something to make pieces look different or more expressive, because they pay for my time.
You don’t.
I do not welcome criticism from people I don’t know or trust. Unsolicited criticism is just plain rude, especially on something I do almost exclusively for myself.
if i may
this wasnt a personal attack on your art or your hobby, nor was this a non-constructive message. this anon isnt telling you what to do with youre art, theyre simply voicing an opinion/making an observation
if you post your art in a public domain, expect feedback. not everyone is going to give you compliments and praise all the time. this anon in fact did give you praise and said they admired you
i can understand not wanting criticism on every piece you do, that is reasonable, but at the same time people are allowed to voice what they dont like about your work, just as they are allowed to voice what they DO like.
you do have a choice to take these comments, and you also have the choice to disregard them. there’s no fault in either, but frankly i just find this response of yours needlessly defensive when the anon wasnt even being rude at all.
I have to agree with this. I honestly don’t believe anon was being antagonistic and I think you were looking at their opinion with an aggressive undertone. I really think they were trying to help you because they like your art so much and look up to you as an inspiration.
I can understand not always being open to constructive criticism, and being selective about it, but if you hope to pursue a professional path with your art, you can’t always limit yourself and turn away valid points that could actually help you. Yes, you are free to make art for yourself as a creative outlet, but you have to understand, posting your art for the public eye will not make it immune to criticism and you have to accept that sometimes you will face criticism, even when you don’t want it. How you handle it is what will help you grow as an artist, as well as the willingness.
There was nothing rude about what anon told you. You are simply interpreting it that way because you were not prepared for it. It might be a good idea to try to look at what’s being said objectively before jumping to the defensive.
