· ⊱ ⛰️ 𓈒 Imagine laying on the grass with your F/O on a sunny day 𖧧

The hill is sun-warmed beneath you, soft with overgrown clover and grass that tickles at your elbows. You're lying shoulder to shoulder, arms stretched out toward the sky, and everything feels so easy here. It's quiet, but not empty.

Your F/O shifts beside you, the faint brush of their arm against yours sending a little flutter through your chest. They point upward lazily, their voice fond and laced with just a hint of child-like excitement.

"That one looks like a snail– one with a sword," they say, grinning like they’ve just told the best joke in the world.

You turn your head to look at them instead of the sky. “So like.. a warrior snail?”

“The bravest,” they say solemnly - and when you laugh, they glance over at you and something in their expression changes.

In the hush that follows, their hand finds yours between the grass, fingers sliding into place like they were always meant to. “We should stay here forever,” they murmur, eyes flicking from your mouth to your eyes and back again, like they can’t decide which part of you they need to memorize first. They shift, propping themselves on one elbow so they can lean over you.

They kiss you like they’ve got nowhere else to be, like the world paused just for this. And when they finally ease away, it’s not distance; they never really leave. Their lips ghost against yours one last time, reluctant to let go, before they press their forehead to yours with a tenderness that steals your breath. They whisper your name like it means something holy, and you know you're right where you belong.

This is what home feels like, when it has a heartbeat.

Chronically offline f/o… They look over your shoulder when you’re scrolling and suddenly you’re explaining years worth of internet history so they get some random meme you were looking at. They respond to every text with 👍. They don’t know how to take selfies. They get you to solve every tech problem you have and think you turning something off and turning it back on again makes you a genius.
