On this planet you celebrate with people that are the closest to your heart and express or reaffirm your emotions and feelings by putting vibrant baby blue paint over each other! The paint changes color upon skin contact based on the current emotions people feel towards one another - it might be anger (dark blue) or disappointment (orange), a bubbly, happy feeling (green), a feeling of belonging to a home (red), or having a close friend (yellow)! Usually there are few colors at the same time, monotones surface only when people are overwhelmed by just one feeling!

They don’t know what this shade of violet means yet, though.

RIP Stan Lee

I know this isn’t voltron related, but I feel like I have to say this. Today in my last period I learned that the one, the only, Stan Lee died today. This is the moment we have all been dreading and hoping would never come. I genuinely was brought to tears with the thought of what an utter loss we have just had. No words can express how his characters and charisma have influenced my life. Not to be cliche, but the MCU really did help me. Seeing superheroes with flaws and worries about everyday life made me feel a little more human. Seeing a superhero struggle with anxiety and issues with self-worth made me realize that it’s ok to have flaws, and it’s ok to not be ok all the time. Even if some of us began to doubt him later in his life, think of all he has done for us. He deserves to be mourned. He deserves to be remembered. This man was truly a legend and inspiration to us all. Rest In Peace Stan Lee, and Excelsior!
