I really sat here and thought about why the whole Ethel thing is rubbing me the wrong way and there’s just something really shitty about the whole thing.

Let me start this by saying that since Ethel has shown up, y’all didn’t like her. I first thought, you know what, people get bad vibes from characters/people all the time (I know I do), but I didn’t see anything at first and now seeing that Ethel is literally just used to be a crackhead for a very shitty “evils of playing fantasy themed games” plot, I’m kinda pissed.

This is too fucking big for words because I literally went by every appearance of her to break down that she isn’t a bad character, you probably are either a) a shipper who’s pissed or b) someone who might not remember plot points about a character that “isn’t important” because they all logically line up with who she was until season 3. It’s under a read more because it’s a lot.

Honestly so many people stan Cheryl who is a bully and every episode has done something negative, but Ethel does a few human things (yeah some were bad but all the mains have done bad things/possibly worse as well) and she gets hate and then people talk about her creepy cult things, but then they argue Alice is just being manipulated so they still love her it just makes no sense, Ethel is 16/17.
