I think I'll start using my Tumblr again, but now for my work on game dev, 3D modeling and comics. For now, a bass guitar, low poly, made in Blender 3.6 and using the Lightning Boy Studio shader (amazing shader for comic/anime style renders).

After 6 years, I’m back to Second Life. I want to use my recently adquired 3D skill to create things like Mesh Avatars, clothes, houses. So, this blog will have a section dedicated to my adventures on Second Life, and for my store there, if I can open it. The name of the store? I need to say? ;)

I wanted a comic book visual for this one, using Unity 5 real time rendering as a base for the image. Why Unity to render? Because: 1-I’m bad at rendering with Blender now. 2-I need to learn light setup in Unity.

Contour and detail lines was added later, with Manga Studio 5 (used to make the textures too). Model is using Unity’s Standard Shader (Specular setup) with Diffuse, Specular, Normal and Emission maps. More photos (Unity scene setup, wireframes, etc) at: www.keawstudio.com/gallery
