Hiya! I'm Lark, Lark Sparx! But it's not good to give your real name to people online so you can call me Larkspur! Oh you noticed my blog name, huh? Oh? What's a Lightspur you ask? Well, I'm happy to tell you! it's kinda like a Boltund, but it stands like people do. (If that sounds scary don't worry! They aren't real, I made them up. ^^) and they have their own type called the light type, but thats not as important

I'm 12, and apparently some kind of prodigy, but I just like building stuff!!! ^-^ They're not even that good, honestly, it's all just for fun. Maybe one day I'll make some cool stuff that'll make me famous though. ^^;;

They/Them are my pronouns if you need to talk about me for... Some reason? He is fine occasionally too but promise it wont be the only one you use okay?

I wanna have a full team someday. I'm not sure if I count as a trainer though. They mainly all help me with my invention-making, but I have a trainer's liscense anyway in case I decide to do, like, trainer stuff, I guess.

and uhhhh apparently he's going to be getting something called "workers comp" which sounds good? something about how he shouldnt have slipped backwards and only did cuz his work boots were due to be replaced but they didnt do it yet when they were supposda

I do really like living near a river, it's really nice to sit by and read and get an escape from the lab, but when mosquito season starts it makes me want to build something probably dangerous and over the top to have some peace.

I should find a Pokemon that eats bugs. Gizmo is a bug and Porygon don't eat so....

Woke up to Gizmo jumping on me for an early morning snack... Might as well go work in the lab again while my uncles aren't there, stuff I want to make apparently makes them nervous? I don't get it.

I need to paint it but I don't know what color... Or maybe it looks better with just the metal outside? I wish I could ask the lab techs but they'd take it away again.

In a blur of silver and yellow, Lark throws the ball hard at a concrete wall. The strange invention hits it with a loud clang, then starts releasing white smoke.

"Ah, that was supposed to turn inside out first... And the smoke was supposed to be another color. Hm..."

Oh! That's a really good question. I like how we can invent, like... anything! Even stuff we used to think was impossible to create like teleporting, we figured it out eventually. I think we can do anything if enough people who know what they're doing work together!

Even diseases we thought had no cure! And I'm sure we'll find even more! Isn't that cool?

Tropius is a cool name by the way! Is it in another language?

Ohhhh, one of my lab uncles said um, you can't say curse words in public either. Is... Your name a curse word...? Or is it like, you're in witness protection so you can't tell anyone? You probably can't tell me though if that's true though, sorry.

Is a Tropius like a Lightspur... Or are you like, actually not a human? I've never heard of one before... Where are you from? If that isn't too personal to ask. (You don't have to answer!)
