so last week we started making all these plans not gonna babble now it's my 2 day and i need coffee before i go sweat but we got plans and we been having fun and tings been kinda nice lately the after xmas january blues been a nice lighter shade of blue than usual this year feelin groovy so what happens? yesterday on my way to pick up adda for our monday fik i get an email not just any email one of those possible life changing emails aaaughghg so kulturhuset here..THE coolest non larrys corner spot on town has one of if not THE best jobs around and they are looking for someone and they wrote and suggested that i apply to be that somone and we leave it at there i dont have any copies of this to sell but i can possibly find one this is the most amazing thing i have seen we will show it at the store soon found 2 boxes of 10kr cds coconut lime cookies sales and ?

34 years and counting

so like wow kinda boring historical day in my life i guess in a way most days are historical in one way or another today is one of a matching pair of historical days in my life today for exactly 34 years ago me and my now ex swedish wife we got us onto a plane from detroit and we moved to sweden since the time diff is working here...tmaro is my first day of actually living in sweden talk about a mindfuck damn felt like babbling about 1980 in sweden and what it was like for a weido detroiter finding himself in the backwoods of varberg...with 2 tv channels, no american newspapers, no internet and oooodles of strange new things...mostly swedish people alas..it is 9 and i need to get to the gym come shmooze and we talk about old and new times old times in detroit were pretty damn amazing leni sinclair and gary grimshaw made sure we can remember them sale that'll make you plotz still going strong. rosemary snickardoodle cookies

so way back 1977-78 i was changing my life on a kibbutz in israel we take all that later all we care about is the poster on the wall for now i got lots to do so all the rest comes later preferably over a coffee and shmooze sometime when you visit next year so we had this poster of david ben gourian probably spelled his name wrong...sorry david 2 things about the poster 1. he had chubby fingers...he had chubby fingers and we smoked alot of hash his fingers looked just like the chunks of hash we bought for many years we called hash...david ben gourian fingers now ya know 2. the poster had a picture of hash david and a saying he had once come up with i kinda love that saying and pretty much am reminded of it each and every day i am alive TO BE A REALIST....YOU MUST BELIEVE IN MIRACLES not sure i ever saw 5 words put together in such a magical way happy new years people every day damn at larrys corner is a miracle thanks to you people see ya 2014 let's share more miracles

so last night i closed the store an hour earlier than i wanted to had booked a company to come pick up an old couch and some junk we needed to toss had 11 damn emails with the place confirming a time and date closed store early..rushed home and they forgot to show up called them oops...we forgot man...getting pissed off på svenska is a blast my swedish gets kinda better when i am angry so today i gotta close a little early again and they gonna come and pick up stuff and give me compensation price so today we close 6pm on the dot and not a swedish minute later after today we working on suck out all we can xmas time tmaro we open till 7 saturday we gonna be open 12-like 2am..till 11 for store and film starts at 12. try to come sunday 1-6 monday 12-8..then i boogie to rome just found this song last night as i was falling asleep...it will be on next years larrys coner thank god for xmas jul cd

so last week glenys was my real right hand girl cleaning arranging getting down on me for being the slob i am gavin brought tapes to the store for people to pick up...thinking he could bring me some custs at the same time joran fixed the windows and the front room like never before kevin kevined a couple came..bought the biggest most expensive plush doll i had and said they come every year and buy a big plush doll cause they love giving them away and they love supporting the store olle came with his cool special designed menu örjan came and we talked more about the muffin ensemble being the house band for film nights karin brought 10 cool as hell artists to have one of the happiest shows ever i started realizing more and more larrys corner is really becoming a communal effort i am great at finding all the weird stuff..the books films music and stuff that you just dont have time to go digging for but i SUCK at order and cleaning and fixing left to myself..larrys corner shit...i don't wanna picture it anyhows... it feels nice lately we are really becoming somthing..us larryscornerists and we are NOT a closed society you are sooo welcome to join us if you got an idea..we just might have the space and time to work out something weird but when i usually talk of the store i pretty much always say..WE. sooo today tmaro and wed we open till 6ish after that...the mushbabes leaves for rome so i gonna be solo o what the hell we be open till 7-8-9 let's see sale..the big 10 kr sale restarts in few hours worst xmas film ever saturday midnite this song is a xmas grooove
