DIGDEEP WATER
EVERY HUMAN HAS A RIGHT TO CLEAN WATER.
Last night I went to the DIGDEEP Water Launch Party, which raised money to help bring clean water to over 200 people in South Sudan. DDW was founded by George McGraw, an international lawyer, who is defending access to clean water. They have access and educational projects to make sure all people have access to clean water. 100 percent of the donor funds go to the projects.
In our own country, “data shows that nearly 1.8 million Americans lack access to safe water and/or waste water disposal. That’s only .6% of the US population, a number that skyrockets to nearly 13% on American Indian reservations”.
What does water mean to you?
Barry's Bootcamp
I cannot live without Barry’s Bootcamp. I have been going on and off for the past 4 years and love almost every minute of it. ;) It’s like having a one on one trainer how they cater to the individual. They push you to do your personal best without all the yelling; instead with good music, great energy, and support. The workouts are different daily and focus on different areas of the body with 30 minutes of overall cardio and 30 minutes of weight training. Barry’s is great for fast results and stress relief. This bootcamp program was the first time I set foot in a gym and though at first I was intimidated I soon became enamored with it and plan on continuing into my later years of life. One of my favorite trainers is Martin George, he’s been with the program since it opened in 1998 and has a vast range of knowledge and is very personable. Barry’s Bootcamp is a life changer and will make you feel differently about working out. For a good time and to get your butt into shape I highly recommend Barry’s Bootcamp.

Juliana Eckblad
I've been going to Juliana for years now, starting with her at Frenchy's and then following her to Helmet Salon. I wouldn't go anywhere else and am so glad to have this zany sincere bottle of joy in my life.
She is down to earth and doesn’t push anything upon you. She just cares about bringing out the best in you. Also, she's the only one to ever get me from hiding behind my hair, getting it up and off my face. And she’s really great to talk to; I’ve probably divulged more than I should about the goings-on of my life.

Beth Helmstetter
I started working for Beth Helmstetter in February and have felt truly blessed to be given this opportunity in life. I was having a hard time figuring out what else I could do with my life if acting didn’t work out and even if it did a side job/hobby that could keep me busy. Also, one day I would like to start a family and I would love to be able to provide and have a job that I can bring them to as well. Plus everyone is always having some sort of party that needs planning, so no matter where the wind takes me someone will need a helping hand.
For Beth I do detail work, help with on location management, and anything else that will help the day run smoothly and beautifully. Beth has an amazing aesthetic and eye making it easy to back her opinions 100% and want to execute everything pristinely. I’ve always been into the show Four Weddings and now I get to be part of the magic that pulls it all together. I am so happy to be on this adventure and to have found another passion.
“Find something you’re passionate about and keep tremendously interested in it”. –Julia Child
Here is a link to one of the weddings I most recently worked on at the Trapp Family Lodge in Vermont for the lovely Jennifer & Canute shot by Curtis Heyne of Living Cinema (I make a slight cameo with a trout cake after I had a poisonous caterpillar crawl on my neck, but that’s another story): http://www.livingcinema.net/blog/vermont-summer-wedding/
I think the best role models for women and girls are people of either gender, who are fruitfully and confidently themselves, who bring light into the world.

Loungin' With Tony
Check out my friend Tony Moore's show at http://lounginwithtony.com/. He is now in Season 3 and has interviewed the likes of Raven Symone, "Shangela", and Wayne Brady to name a few. You can also catch Tony monthly at Micky's in West Hollywood for Tony's Cabaret where he showcases new artists of different talents and backgrounds.
I have seen Tony host in action and was lucky enough to work with him in the film, "Flophouse" written by Matt Chester. Tony brings his lighthearted warm energy wherever he goes and makes it impossible not to smile in his presence.
Share some laughs, get jazzed and relax as you lounge with Tony.
There is an AMC competition that my friends created & entered. Watch now, share some laughs, & vote.

Headshots
Nothing says new beginning, in the acting world, than a fresh portfolio of headshots. I decided to get back in the game and start New Years early with Elizabeth Melendez. Elizabeth Melendez has been a freelance photographer since 2008. She has combined her “passion for the digital arts, performing/entertainment, and knowledge of post production/retouching”.
My experience on location was easygoing and fun. She made me feel welcome and truly was looking out for my interests and creating the best shot. Elizabeth has a great eye and explains her reasoning behind her proccess, resulting in an overwhelming variety of shots for me to choose from.
