#The Holy Trinity Of Proposals BTW
I absolutely love how 8x02 is perfectly bookended.
At the beginning, Lucy looking into her old home, feeling sad saying goodbye.
At the end, Lucy looking into her new home, feeling happy and hopeful.
I love how Tim went from saying he hates making mistakes in front of Lucy last season to asking her how she thinks roll call went and taking her advice on board to apply it to his next speech. It's amazing. I'm so glad to be on this journey with them.
chenford + applicable quotes/lyrics (21/?) (insp.) ↳ maisie peters, love him i don't
You really thought I was gonna come in first? Of course I did.
#Shut Up They Went from Studying Together In The Shop to Studying Together In The Car
- It is a smart career move. - So this has nothing to do with the promise of physical intimacy if I make sergeant?

Tim & Lucy (The Rookie) ♠️ Together (7x14)
"That girl is the best thing that ever happened to you..."
Someone pointed out once (sorry, I can't remember who) that there is a clear difference between 'Lucy comforting Tim' hugs and 'Tim comforting Lucy' hugs.
The 7x14 hug is for sure a Lucy comforting Tim hug. It must be related to the "dark web" message that Tim gets. Either way, I am living here for the next week!
I should've spoken up I should've proudly claimed That oh my head's to blame For all my heart's mistakes But oh, I'm staring at the mess I made
– The Mess I Made (Parachute) x Chenford
I don’t know how people work so fast to pull these beautiful things together, but this is a wonderful video depicting Chenford’s story so far that isn’t 30 minutes long, including this week’s episode ♥️
MOM AND DAD CHENFORD REALLY OUT HERE KEEPING TAMARA SAFE🥺🥺🥺
Everything I’ve dreamed of
Tamara will hopefully come around and realize he’s bad news

If nothing else, the Chenford Chats in The Rookie Season 7, Episode 1 prove that Tim and Lucy still need each other.
There are two things to remember: healing and looking forward to it. Chenford might not be back, but they’re definitely back. (Emphasis on the lack of italics.) When we last saw them in the Season 6 finale, “Escape Plan,” things were tense in the elevator, but their love for one another wasn’t shaken. It still isn’t. It’s fully there, shining in both their eyes during almost every interaction in The Rookie Season 7, Episode 1, “The Shot.”
It’s especially present in Tim’s tone and his physicality—the slight ease from the crosses he carries. Tim’s the one who needed to heal. He’s the one who’s struggling with sharing his burdens, and the reason their breakup happened in the first place. And in order for Tim and Lucy to come together again, they need to heal. He needs to heal. They need to look forward to things and not fear them, which is essentially what’s happening in this episode. In many ways, we’re back to the beginning, starting over in a way that’ll help them two build an even stronger foundation to add to their history.

Oh yeah, they're definitely not over.
