My name is Nami, and I used to be human, until one day I woke up as a Primarina. I don’t remember life as a human at all, save for a few sparse memories, but I’m beginning to believe I like this form more. I believe I am currently in Hoenn, from what others have told me, and at the present moment I live in a grotto by the sea. What’s odd is that others, both human and Pokémon, can understand me, but humans can only understand my song…..something I learned while singing to the moon one night. I don’t know if I want to return to human form again, but sometimes I wonder what it would be like to have legs instead of fins……

I’ve finally been able to find enough shells, sea glass pieces with holes in them, and a few pearls bumpy enough to be tied securely for my necklace. Now it is only a matter of finding someone that can help me braid said trinkets into strands of dried seagrass, and I can have a necklace made of the beautiful things I’ve found down on the seafloor.

…but what Pokémon would have skill enough to tightly braid seagrass……? Could a Wingull or perhaps even…a Tailow do it?

Per the suggestion of another- I have gone out in search of a Psyduck for help braiding my necklace..the local Wingull tell me they usually live in the estuaries inland.

I’ll probably be away for a day’s journey…

My journey was not for naught- I was able to acquire the help of a Psyduck willing to aid me in braiding my necklace, and he thankfully accepted a few treasures of my own as payment.

I like wearing this necklace…it makes me feel…..like myself, if that makes sense at all….

….I am told that humans wear jewelry as well by the Wingull near home..perhaps this is why I like my necklace so..? Or perhaps it is just that I enjoy shiny treasures and wish to care a few of my most precious with me.

There was a truly wretched storm last night…I worry for all of the less fortunate Pokémon than I who could have been injured by the rough ocean currents…

…Perhaps I’ll go out and do some damage control once the sun fully rises and see if anyone out there needs my help.

You probably want the help of a Pokemon with hands, not talons. Maybe a Psyduck or Golduck?

Perhaps you are right….maybe tomorrow I will set out in search of a Psyduck ally- do you think they would accept payment of shiny oceanic treasures? The bird Pokémon like to help me simply because I give them pretty things for their nests, after all…but it’s not like I don’t have an excess of things to give them.

Though I am not sure exactly where I am in the world in relation to you, I nonetheless appreciate your kindness, and would like you to know that I’m here as well….but I am unsure if I’m old or experienced enough to give advice back to you, as I don’t know how old you are relative to me, in both human and Pokémon years. Nevertheless, I’ve learned that...“eebies”..should stick together, and the companionship is definitely welcome.

//Nami was a 17 year old girl before turning, but she was often described as “wise beyond her years” which is quite true. She has no idea how old she is as a Primarina beyond knowing that she is neither an elder nor a child, and she still has many skills to learn as a Pokémon. (Hope this helps characterize her better?)

I am doing well, thank you for so kindly asking. I’m quite enjoying swimming in the ocean, especially foraging for treasure and catching prey there, and today I learned I can balance things on my nose…..odd, considering that I actually woke up like this a few weeks ago, I believe…I only just started posting to Rotumblr yesterday, using a washed-up human device that the Electrike living in the coastland fields helped me zap back to life.

Anyways, how are you doing? And what is this “office clerk” that you state in your title? I think that I have heard the words before……but my human memories are blurry at best.

I am doing fine. As for what an office clerk is, I mostly just write reports and emails. Sometimes I get on group meetings, but not often.

Ah, right, now I remember, thank you…at least you can still write emails using your claws on the keyboard? It gets irritating sometimes to not have…fingers..but I’ve found ways around it, and it’s not as if I need fingers to live in the ocean.

Do those you work with know that your body is now that of a Charizard? I’m sure that they would know you’re still….yourself, right..?

Maybe that is the best way. I haven’t seen other humans in a long time, I think the most recent sighting I had with one was soon after I turned- but from what others say about them, I am not sure what to think.

My home is far away from where humans are, but sometimes I see large sailing ships far away in the distance…and sometimes I wish I could see them in closer proximity, they’re so bright and warm looking at night……
