International Lolita Day outfit <3

Went for a hint of classic this time in honor  of my friends’ birthday who generally wear classic Lolita. Their birthdays are on the same week as International Lolita Day, so it was a good excuse to get together and party Lolita style! This is as classic as I’ll probably ever get, sorry ha ha ha. It sucks so badly when people you love actively choose to be bigots. As in, this person has people on all sides telling them that and how what they’re doing is oppressive, and they do it anyway. All along denying that their actions affect people and that their personal greater goods and prerogatives are more important than other people’s lives and experiences. It sucks most of all when you go to them with nothing but love and all they have to say is about “personal choices” and differing world views, and you sit and realize that you still love somebody who’s doing something horrible, and that you have to dissociate yourself from their company in order to not participate in being part of the problem. Because if you hang around idly while they do something shitty, you enable that person to be bad. And I don’t want to enable or be part of the problem. God dammit, this world is so fucked.
