Settling into an easy stance, dagger in hand, Ronon waited for the king to attack. Even though Jaime had tried to convince him to pick up a sword, the brunet much preferred his daggers. His gun was safely hidden in his jacket, piled on the floor. So he kept to his numerous knives.

Not that he was unused to wealth or riches because gods know his Lord Father was not lacking in that category. True, no one could claim Lord Tywin to be a wasteful man but neither was he a poor one in any category but emotions.
After sheathing his blade he sent his exhausted partner off for the day. He figured by now the boy had enough of a beating for today. As the boy scurried off Jaime ignored him.
“Have you done much practicing during your stay?” Cersei had recently started screeching about how all his guest had been doing was lounging around and wasting their resources.
Nodding silently to the King's comment about similar feelings, Ronon wasn't sure if he really believed that.
From what he had heard of the King and his family, they had never lived off of whatever it was they could find. But he held no ill will for the blond's misunderstanding really. Few could truly understand the Satedan; his beastly side made settling down much too hard. Especially as he currently didn't even have a pack to make him feel even marginally relaxed.
Glancing at the young man that all but ran from the room, the dreadlocked man shook his head slightly in amusement. Obviously the boy didn't have too much of a fighting spirit.
"None of the men I've seen practicing are willing to let me join them." Which wasn't too terribly surprising when he considered the fact he had nearly torn his final opponent apart with only a knife. "The only practicing I've managed has been some minor target practice in my rooms." While he didn't normally throw his knives, it wasn't a bad skill to brush up on occasionally. Even if his inner beast wanted more, wanted a challenge and to actually work his muscles.
