He nods. “Si it is. Easter dinner is the only dinner that I will stop my commissions and eat for. It all depends on what is served.”
“have you had thanksgiving dinner yet? it’s even better, and the whole point of thanksgiving is to eat.”

“ no, never. it wasn’t proper for young ladies to go— or that is what my mother always told me. “ of course, in this time period, she had found that ladies could do whatever they pleased whenever they pleased. it was refreshing, to say the least. “ oh! wonderful! i believe we may head straight down. “
“nowadays it’s perfectly proper, i can assure you of that.” she smiled. “it’s so much fun, too. or at least i hope you have fun.” lissa started down the street. “do you have anywhere you want to go first?”
“I know what Easter is. It was a big thing in the Renaissance Italy. Ah I see. I don’t think the feast matters anyway. Just thought if there was it would be an extension of what I knew…and I understand. I’m fairly new to these times and this festival as well.”
“i can’t even begin to imagine what easter was like back then.” she shook her head in amazement. “food is always important. it’s not my favorite dinner ever but easter dinner is usually pretty good.”
“Ah easter. I didn’t think this time even celebrated Easter. I wasn’t really one for it back home…but I will admit this modern version of it is pretty.”
“it’s not very widely celebrated but people do celebrate.” she smiled. “i just love spring and easter is the epitome of spring for me.”
“The Renaissance. My home time. And Easter?” He looks around. “Well I mean it’s beautiful. Is there a feast as well?”
“easter is on sunday. i swear it was just christmas yesterday though.” she shook her head with a smile. “i’m not really sure, but i hope so. i’m fairly...new to town.”
Arthur was walking around, more like wandering around, when he sees street vendors. He hasn’t seen them since his Camelot days and he wonders why they are even out to begin with. He goes up to someone and ask “Excuse me. I apologize of interrupting but can you explain the meaning of this to me.” He points to the vendors setting up.
“it’s for the easter holiday,” she explained with a smile. “i guess everyone is celebrating and the city turned all pretty and beautiful!”
she’s quite proper as always, but she cannot contain the child-like glee that has spread across her features, gentle fingers pressed to the windowsill as she watched the festivities downtown. she whipped around, eyes locking on the person in the room with her. “ please accompany downtown. i have not been to a festival before. it looks so intriguing! “
“really? never?” lissa can’t help but smile at the other girl. since she was stuck here, she might as well make the best of it, right? why not enjoy herself, and maybe she could find someone she knew. “of course i’ll come with you.”
Leonardo can’t help but feel giddy and child-like when he sees the vendors. “I haven’t seen vendors since the Renaissance.” He turns to the person next to him. “Do you know what the vendors are for? I never seen them here and I was wondering why they are here?” He doesn’t realize it’s for Easter since they don’t usually have a festival…it’s more about the church and religion aspect.
“I’m sorry, since when?” lissa blinked a bit in confusion. she shook it off with a shrug and looked around. “it’s for easter this weekend. it all looks so pretty, doesn’t it?”

mika was quiet for a moment, wishing that she had an actual answer to be helpful, though instead she had to shrug. “i’m sorry, i don’t know. i just got here myself. i haven’t had time to learn my way around.”
“it’s okay. this might sound strange...but, i’m not really sure how i got here, and i just wanted to get back home.”
lowclltracey:
“Uh… Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it’s nearly a holiday weekend. I don’t think you’re gonna get out of here any time soon.” Lowell replied with a sympathetic smile.
“what do you mean?” she ran a hand through her hair with a sigh. “oh right, easter is on sunday.”
rachgrccn:
was rachel freaking out? of course, she was because freaking out was what rachel green did best. and, in her opinion, waking up in a city and having no idea how or when you arrived there was reason enough to freak out. “i don’t even know how i got here, much less how to point you in the direction of a train station.”
“at least i’m not the only one who’s lost.” she tried to joke with a laugh. it was nerve wracking, not knowing what happened or where anyone was. she ran a hand through her hair. “i’m guessing you don’t know what happened either?”

❝ OH, uh … don’t - don’t mind me. ❞ simon was harboring a glass of blood between his cold hands, hoping that it passed off as some sort of smoothie rather than o-neg, before he realized just how awkward it still was to whip out his dinner in public. one of the downsides, he thought, of becoming a daylighter was that he still had to drink blood — at least when he could only come out at night, it was a bit less noticeable. ❝ i’m - um …. it’s a liquid diet, you know how those are. ❞
“oh no, you’re fine.” she waved him off with a smile. little did he know, she had he own blood inside her coffee cup. she tended to stay away from the clear bottles, but she figured he was pretty new at it. “what a coincidence! so am i. it’s the best, isn’t it?”
pendragonreborn:
“I’m sorry but I just arrived here yesterday. I have no idea what those things are.”
“oh, it’s okay. i just realized i have my phone.” she smiled and pulled it out. “hopefully i can get a taxi or something soon.”
seattle. lissa recognized it from her adventures away from st. valdimir’s with rose, but that was the only thing she had a grip on at the moment. the last thing she remembered was that she was in pennsylvania with rose, dimitri, and christian and nothing else after that. “excuse me? would you mind pointing me in the direction of an airport? or a train station?”
as her eyes stared up at the BEAUTIFUL, SPARKLING space needle, hannah couldn’t help but wonder why ?? why did she end up here ?? not the afterlife, or the immense darkness that was hell ?? was seattle where her soul belonged ?? despite still feeling dead inside, hannah still felt human, no one was WALKING THROUGH HER. hannah was very much alive much to her disappointment.
among the bodies in the crowd, hannah thought she caught sight of clay. “clay ??” eyebrows knitted together as she began to weave through the crowd. maybe it was WISHFUL THINKING ?? but, she could have sworn she’d saw him. among the throng of bodies that now pushed her through the bodies. once out in the open, hannah looked around. confusion danced across her delicate features as she tried to locate him. “you’re not that lucky, hannah, you never have been the lucky one…” voice low and in a somber tone. her eyes were staring down at her boots with a morbid expression on her face.
seattle. she recognized this place from her adventures on the run with rose, but WHAT was she doing there? why was she here, and where was everyone? she could feel her anxiety rising within her, and lissa forced herself to keep on walking. the city really was quite pretty. plus, there wasn’t a lot of sun so she didn’t tired very quickly here.
she heard a voice behind her, and she turned toward it. “i’m sorry?” she raised an eyebrow. “no, not quite.” she let out a slight giggle. “were you looking for someone? i am too.”
One second he was at Alexandria, embracing the half hearted retreat he’d caused from Negan and the next he was here,in a world that seemed too good to be true.
He let out a sigh, assuming the worst as he spoke to a passer by, not bothering to turn and look “Hey, we dead?” He could only assume that was what had brought this place to life and if so then heaven really wasn’t as great as those damn religious preachers had always told everyone.
“i sure hope not.” lissa looked over at him with a joking smile. truth be told, she had no idea what was going on either. she had no idea where rose or christian were, and it made her nervous beyond belief. she tugged at her sleeve, looking around the new place. she vaguely recognized it, but couldn’t put her finger on where it was.
“you don’t know what happened either?”
