its simple to have fun in sims 4 for me.
aging on for everyone, let your sims be your own people. be picky with your mods so ur game dont lag unnecessarily. set mccc and neighbourhood stories to work along each other, so your stories outside your household progress. get a mod to stop random townie generation so the only new people you’ll see will be the offsprings of your townfolk. basiclaly youre running an ant colony in the background. of course to make sure the offsprings wear decent clothes as they grow older, you get a custom dresser.cfg file from mc command so they wear normal clothes. at least your “new townie” will have families and autonomy, instead of being randomly generated nobodies that have no backstories like tf ?? of course you could use import tray sims in mccc if u want, i personally dont do that. if there are hot sims i want in my game, i’ll populate them manually :p hence i use a mod to stop random townie generation altogether. and errrrm, play normal lifespan. thats my personal preference tho but u do u.
oh, comes in handy too- learn how to use notion as much as you can to keep track of your pixel people because holy hell once you know what youre doing with notion, the sky’s your limit. coz what do you mean im making a whole social media page simulating twitter while my sims beef with each other over a man 😭 i’ll show yall some day. i dont really post in depth of my sims stuff on tumblr coz usually it’s just for my eyes to see (hence, notion lol)
