britt blinked, taking back what she had said. “oh – i always help the girls with their makeup during competitions.” she then smiled as if it were the most obvious thing. but in truth she would just do her makeup and watch the girls have fun as they got ready. “i don’t. she looks like a clown wearing makeup while i look like a younger margot robbie.”

“So you just meant casually, then.” Andy said with a bit of a nod, not questioning it when the other girl took back her previous statement. “You do look like a younger Margot Robbie! I never noticed that before. I think it’s the cheekbones.”

britt gave a small laugh as she looked at the other. “not really.” she admitted. “just mine. i used to watch my mom do her own makeup before she could close the door.”

Andy raised an eyebrow, surprised. “Even as cheer captain? Gasp.” She teased, crossing her arms. “Oh, well I did the same thing. So don’t feel bad about that.”

“i do the same thing. a pore-free skin can say a lot about people.” she confessed as she grabbed her sponge to finish, gently pressing it. “

“Agreed.” Andy told her simply, watching as the other switched to a sponge. “Do you often do other people’s makeup?”

“thanks.” britt dipped her feet in her slipper, walking to the girl’s makeup bag. she grabbed the essentials products since she could do a better job with hers. approaching the brunette, she gently applied foundation on her face using her brush. “you have a beautiful skin,” she stated.

Andy watched the other approach and she held out the makeup bag, not surprised that she only pulled a few items out of it and planned to use her own for the rest. “Thank you.” She said softly, keeping her face mostly still to make it as easy as possible for the other girl. “So do you - I noticed it when we met.”

britt shook her head with a half smile. “sure.” her eyes following the other in the mirror again, she grabbed her brush and got up. “can i do your makeup?.”

Andy nodded a bit as she said she could borrow it and moved to put something else down, looking over her shoulder at the other. “Yeah, if you want. My makeup bag’s just over here.”

as she applied her facial powder, britt stared at andy through the mirror. “that dress looks great on you,” britt said once she turned back to the girl.  “you should totally wear it tonight.”

Andy looked at the other in the mirror, shrugging a bit. “Maybe - you’re cool with me borrowing it?” She turned and looked over her shoulder to see how it really looked on her.

“I mean, neither do I, but I’m not very easily impressed.”

“so apparently when one has a concussion they aren’t allowed to be left alone.” ariel said as she turned and face the person. “so you are my baby sitter for the day.”

“Seriously?” Andy asked with a furrowed brow, honestly surprised. “Oh, great. Love that for me.” She flipped the page of her textbook, trying to catch up on this school’s curriculum.

“god damn school messed up my abs.” kye said with a pout as he lifted up his shirt to reveal the large bandage wrapped around his stomach. “you still think i’m hot right?”

Andy tilted her head as he lifted his shirt, shrugging a bit. “Scars are pretty hot actually.” She pointed out, meeting his eyes again. “If that helps you sleep at night.”

ariel rolled her eyes in a playful manor at her new sister. it was going to be harder to like her than she thought. “definitely helmets.” michael replied to her causing ariel to scoff and smile. “hey i haven’t killed you –––– yet.”

Andy laughed a bit at Michael’s reply. “Good to know.” She joked, glancing up at Ariel and putting her hands on her hips. “Yet being the operative word.”

ariel hated the situation that her family was in but she knew that she had to be a somewhat good role model for her brother which meant she needed to act civil while he was around. “come on, dad said we can take the mustang.” she said, knowing it was michaels favourite car. her dad definitely didn’t say that she could take it but she did a lot of things he said not to.

Andy nodded a little bit at Ariel’s words, hanging her purse strap on her shoulder. “Does she drive well, or should we be getting helmets?” She asked Michael jokingly. She didn’t want to actually bicker with Ariel in front of him - so she figured mostly talking with Michael would probably be better than not talking at all.

‘Nice- girls empowering girls” Carmen grinned, already getting the feeling that she might like this girl. She didn’t know why, call it gut instinct “You haven’t been here too long, have you?” She asked. Usually, she didn’t really pay much attention when she didn’t know people- most of them had been here for forever. but a face like that she would have noticed

Andy laughed softly at the other girl’s words, glad that it was her that approached her and not some dumb jock. “I started classes yesterday. Good catch.” The fact that she was eating alone was probably a giveaway too, but she wasn’t going to verbalize that. “So, is there anything about Westmont that you think I should know? Serial killers, drug cartels, underground fight clubs...”

ariel quickly ran up the stairs and knocked on michaels door. “come on buddy, we’re going out for dinner.” she said to him, waiting up there until he was ready. ariel didn’t care about many things but her brother was the one thing that she cared about the most. after a few minuted the girl walked down the stairs, her brother behind her as they waited at the door for andy.

Andy cancelled the order and hung up her phone, quickly changing out of sweatpants and into something that was actually presentable for going out in public. She headed back out towards the door, pulling on a jacket as she did so and looking at her two new siblings. “Ready?” She asked, glancing at Michael with a small smile. Him, she didn’t mind quite as much.

“call and cancel then, i don’t care.” she said to him. “i’ll go get michael, just deal with it within five minutes.”

“Will do.” Andy said with a brief nod, pulling up the phone number again and calling back the pizza place. “I’ll be right back.” She told her half sister, before heading off towards her room so she could change once the pizza was cancelled.

“new girl.” brittany sat on top of the table, her minions around but far enough away not to hear what they were talking about. she looked at the other with a smile, crossing her legs. “so, your audition was very good, i have to say.” she clasped her hands together. 

Andy paused when she heard the words “new girl” called out as she walked past a table. She paused, debating whether she should actually subject herself to answering to that, before turning her head and looking over at the cheer captain. “I’m glad you agree.” She said after a moment, fully turning towards her now.

With a tray in hand, Carmen scanned the cafeteria for a place to sit. The room was packed, most desirable seats already taken so instead of sitting where she usually would, Carmen took a chance and sat across from a girl she had seen around but didn’t really know “You’re pretty” she told the girl, stirring up conversation “I’m carmen” @lastmistakeandy

Andy was busy looking down at her phone, eating her lunch by herself. It didn’t particularly bother her, it was honestly better than trying to approach people that already had their own friends. It was better to wait until they approached her. And, as she noticed someone sit across from her, it looked like it worked. “Thanks, you are too.” She said after looking up at her. “Andy.”

ariel sighed as she looked over at the girl. “forget about the pizza.” she said to the other. “come with us, you should probably get to know him.”

Andy blinked a bit at her words, frowning slightly in confusion. “I guess that makes sense. Should I just cancel the order or let them come here for nothing?”
