you're absolutely right. one can wish the best for someone from afar but it takes epic levels of narcissism to assume that you know what is best for someone that you've never met. especially, to the point that you think you're entitled to tell them how to handle their personal life. being serious seems like an impossible ask from her.

nobody wants to see joe for what he is. he'll eventually show his true colors and there will be two camps: the ones that feign shock and horror, the ones that lie and say they knew all along.
