Scrolling through my old warriors reference I found an old warriors story and realised how many characters of it I have reworked for Latentclan LMAO.
So I decided to list them in case anyone was curious!
(Ignore the fact that some Latentclan designs are different from the ones in the comic, stuff happened.)
The "OG" story was much more different, focusing on politics and a secret previous tyrant attempting to take back power, or something like that.
We'll be ignoring the old ages and relationships compared to the current ones, as everything about the old story is, well, old.
Also you can clearly see I've reused some of the old names LMAO there were a lot I still liked.
Hopeleap vs Hazel
I remember Hopeleap being the protagonist, or at the very least, was my sona at the time and supposedly had a big role.
Hopeleap was just very bubbly and cheerful and a little bit of an airhead, compared to skittish and pessimistic Hazel, so pretty much the polar opposites.
Ghosteye vs Blue
Ghosteye was born blind, and often was quiet, I remember I used her in a rp server and all she did was cry and have visions lmao.
Reworked her to make her into Blue, a happy, cheerful but very sensible gal!
Also ableist name man so glad I reworked her.
Rockkit vs Morning
Rockkit was just an asshole kit in the clan, so it didn't stray much from the current character LMAO.
I guess Rockkit might've grown in what Morning is (annoying, but if he cares he cares deeply, and perhaps having a bit of too much expectation on himself) since he was literally just a kid and didn't have much to him.
Lionkit vs Heat
As morning, an asshole kit in the clan, but was a bit more serious and strict, compared to reckless and energetic Heat.
Also made her gay, LOL.
Bluefire vs Flint
Bluefire too was a big boy scared of his own shadow, who accidentally got into a bigger deal surrounding his clan about previous leaderships and wars.
Bluefire held the key to solve some issue in the OG story.
I remember Bluefire was inspired off a character from the roblox WC game.
Redmoon vs Quick
This one is the character that went through the most changes LMAO.
From an old middle aged red man to a tall cream traumatised young adult.
The only thing I kept is a scar made by [redacted] and being so traumatised to not be able to tell anyone the origins of the scar(s,) but if I remember correctly, Quick's role is extremely similar to Redmoon.
Morningdew vs Cloud
Morningdew was mostly Redmoon's mate and support character, but I did see a lot of similarity while I was making Cloud's character.
They're both caring and go further from appearances even if Cloud is a little less responsible and a bit more emotional (I mean one is an adult who grew up in a loving home the other was sheltered and never allowed to be a kid.)
Fernstalk vs Fern
Another roblox WC oc, this one was a half-Clan between an unknown tom of their Clan and the mother of an enemy clan (I remember his mom being Agavestar, a very chaotic and ruthless she-cat from another Clan, Lake took her place but sigh, I have no Agavestar ref.)
I kept his "mom is from the outside" and rule-breaking nature but scrapped the sassy-ness for a more caring and polite side.
Goldstar vs Fadestar
Didn't change much personality wise, I made Fadestar a bit more of a pathetic wet dog and more close and cheerful to those close to him, rather than a bit more emotionally-distant like Goldstar.
Wavecrash&Wolffang vs Birdcry&Whistlewish
Don't remember much about these two, I just remember they were chaotic and a bit evil, and it translated into Birdcry and Whistlewish being stern, paranoid and flawed moms.
So Latentclan's chapter 17 got tagged as mature, got no idea how it works on tumblr but if you can't see it, you can go read it over on COMICFURY (warning for disturbing imagery)
