we speak in tongues to one another
a language no one else can hear
we lay all of our shortcomings out on the bed
and begin to recite the song of connection
the sound of our bodies rustling
and rhythm of our silenced breathing
as we intertwine we slowly share our highest praises and deepest discoveries
my final prayer is that we continue the dance of love until our bodies cannot move
even in death my soul will pull on the wind
to nudge your gravestone roughly against mine
