What is the Blot?
Please note that I don't study medicine, psychology, or anything like that. (ojo yo hablo español así que esta medio raro)
Introduction to the theory
So, to begin, let's go back to the controversial beginning of it all: Babtqftim. The Babtqftim story tells of an unnamed ink disease that was cured by a machine. However, over time, the disease disappeared, rendering the machine useless.
So, the ancients destroyed the machine and hid its parts. It wasn't until two teacup brothers arrived and made a deal with the Devil that the disease was revived. The brothers, being children, chose the latter. Yes, I know, but remember, they were children. And how does it actually work? The number of those affected is usually around 50 each year. The toon's body begins to melt from the inside out. It's not contagious, so how does the contagion work?
This is where OVA two comes in. Bendy ends up being useless, and at one point we see a kind of flashback. We learn that the illness is caused by contact with these creatures. These creatures enter the individual, causing extreme pain, but they also grant abilities. However, these abilities could be a unique case, and they might have already been present in Bendy. Or perhaps it's the creature's release through anger and other emotions, but if they induce a drowsy state in the body, Bendy supposedly thought it was all a dream. This would mean that the creature already inhabited his body and mind. It probably lived as a parasite, constantly consuming its victim's body. It may have also inhabited his mind.
But that would be overcomplicating things.
Okay, let's get back to what concerns us, myth of the machine.
The story underwent changes, such as in the terminology. These creatures, created by magic, are presented to us as being made of Ichor.
That is, the blood of God, the means of creating toons and monuments. It is found in the Earth's core, and while it also creates this element, it would possess a life of its own.
Here we have the blot, this essence tainted by the evil of the depths. This essence would also have the ability to create its own creatures, but in bizarre ways. The celestials would push back the blot, but they wouldn't kill it, and as a consequence, the Blot's curse would be created.
To save themselves, a very powerful wizard, whom I call Merlin, would use all his magic to create a machine that purifies the Blot. But this machine would also be used to satiate the Toons' hunger for power, causing the Celestials to hide the pieces and thus returning the curse.
How does the curse work?
The individual is affected by strong emotions that make them vulnerable. And the blot attacks from the inside out, leaving a stain. To put it superficially, it's somewhat similar to dip.
The Dip, we're told, was given to us by Judge Doom and is composed of turpentine, acetone, and benzene—paint thinners that are deadly to a cartoon character. But when Bendy consumed some of it, it made him feel more relaxed, so it must be diluted in water, which makes it a kind of sedative, slowing down the activity of the nervous system.
Psychology.
In this section, we will compare panic attacks or anxiety attacks with the Blot, using the human nervous system as an example. External symptoms of a panic attack: the individual suddenly becomes extremely fearful, to the point of losing their reason. Physical symptoms may include palpitations, numbness, sweating, and so on. Three neurotransmitters are involved in this process:
Norepinephrine: A neurotransmitter that alerts us to danger through receptors, travels through different regions of the body. All these pathways reach the brainstem, where norepinephrine receptors are located, triggering a cascade of activity throughout the body's internal organs. This, in turn, causes reactions such as sweating.
Serotonin, where we have many receptors and where we experience many emotions, causes serotonin levels to increase in a deregulated manner.
GABA is the neurotransmitter and ultimate brake, and it decreases when you have a panic attack.
Now the Dip where he will act, especially in gaba, where he enhances it.
Why did I decide to compare it to an anxiety attack?
Because, let's say, it's similar. In fact, the blot appears throughout the comic in those moments when Bendy seems about to lose control.
My crazy theory
Here's a theory: in Babtqftim these creatures were introduced to us, but what if they also existed in Motm? What if they are creatures that control the brain in a metaphysical way, and increase noradrenaline, with side effects where the body destroys itself? Furthermore, the creature can take advantage of these emotions.
But I also believe that it is a creature that only seeks to survive, lives inhibited and constantly looks for ways to leave the individual's body.
In fact, it would make sense that it has a parasitic existence, seeking security. Technically, it's a cage the creature entered, taking advantage of the individual's body, and being something malignant, it causes consequences, such as an excess of noradrenaline that can even be fatal.
And what if we take it even further? There isn't just one creature; in Greek history, there's talk of a complete state, encompassing body, soul, and spirit. What if there are three creatures, each residing in one of these parts of the Toon's body and consuming it? Or perhaps it's simply a division of the same creature. It's inherently a being without feelings, so for me, analyzing the Blot would be like analyzing a parasite—not bad, but not ideal.
Although we don't actually know if these creatures exist, the closest thing to them would be the Seekers. Zombie experiments. Beings trapped in actions they don't understand. Yes, the closest thing.
It's probably just a theory I came up with, it's really crazy.
Bendy the Devil and the creation of these.
Next, I want to share this theory. It's silly, but it helps me think and analyze.
First, Bendy could become a Devil. He could call himself one, be recognized as one, or actually be one. What does "Devil" really mean? The king of Hell? Yes and no, even though we know him as a king.
We can call certain things related to this being "Devil." So, you can make others believe you're a Devil through certain actions that go against religious doctrines and are associated with theistic Satanism. The Devil known as Lucifer was a fallen angel who wanted to be like God. A thought that led to his downfall. Almost like the casino in Cups. Perhaps the Devil was once a Celestial.
Maybe so. Perhaps they'll mention the existence of this being later in the comic.
Another thing I want to mention is that Bendy's last name is The Wolf. One he doesn't like. Would Bendy be capable of changing his last name? Especially to The Devil.
Keep in mind that in the comic collection, the Bendy we all know is The Devil. They might be inspired by this guy's last name for MOTM. Maybe so, but you couldn't really consider yourself the Devil, especially Bendy.
I think outsiders would give him the nickname Bendy the Devil because of some deeds he does that make him worthy of it. He might even have already been called that at school.
Maybe Bendy, in an act of rebellion, will end up changing his last name to The Devil.
I told you the theory was kind of silly. But it's still fun!!!
Better days are coming🌱

Okey comentario es español por que si and I mean comments that we use in my country. It's comedy.
