This must feel so good to do as a seal
Nils Brahe´s Spanish court dress (Mid-17th Century) This velvet suit, owned by Nils Nilsson Brahe (1633-1699), consists of a pair of breeches, a doublet, a short gown with hanging sleeves and a cloak. It also includes several accessoires, like a pair of stockings, linen cuffs, a rapier with matching dagger and a Spanish style "golilla" collar. It´s extremely rare for such a complete 17th Century suit to survive that long - in most cases, only the main parts (like doublet and breeches) survived, while most minor pieces were sold, stolen or destroyed over time.
