I dearly apologise for the late replies secret santa!!! I’ve been so busy you wouldn’t believe it, I meant to draw smth up for this ask but I’m not sure when I’ll find the time & I think ima postpone all ideas I have until after Christmas and get back to handsome Lyle in his Yule Ball robes eeek

THIS ASK IS VERY IMPORTANT. Omg no i’m serious. Lyle would have a few people asking him out based on the fact that I believe he’s a pretty boy In the same way that Cedric is a pretty boy…. Sebastian is amongst them lmaooo Lyle declines because “how would that look, Sebastian. Two blokes dancing.” Then he’d go behind Sebastian’s back and ask Ominis to go together bc he’s desperately in love with him of course. They end up all going as a trio anyway bc neither of them can do anything independently (awful) & everyone just thinks they’re the weird friend group who will leave early and brew strange potions or go into the forbidden forest to fuck shit up with some trolls. So no one bother’s them all night & they can all be secret awful boyfriends together 👬🧍‍♂️ (these emojis r tragic……. Sebastian’s on the right LMAOOOO)

I gave him stud earrings in the first draft bc Lyle and sebby talked him into getting his ears pierced. But perhaps he has trouble putting them on by himself, or is too impatient in the morning, so he only wears them when one of his bfs sleeps over & does it for him🤭

I had the most lucid, gut wrenching, in-detail dream of Sebastian last night. having the mental breakdown he SHOULD have had in-game, after everything that’s happened with Anne and Solomon. All I remember is him crying??? Wailing in fact; His whole weight, dead weight, in my arms like he couldn’t keep himself upright amid the sobs and struggles for air?? Oh my god his hands clawing into my back bc they’ve gone all rigid from shock at that point. Trauma response man. Canonically in the Harry Potter universe, the act of wilful murder tears a soul apart. THATS what his mind bogglingly stupid, impulsive, emotional, ever-loving, foolish, HELPLESSLY LOST character arc should have resulted in. Epiphany about morals, guilt, punishment, false hope. Canon seb gave us not an OUNCE of guilt-ridden philosophy after the fact. I want characters who go through mental mayhem after life altering tragedy. I need them to be not stagnant in their emotionAl depth. I can’t get this new version out of my head your honor am I clinically insane for expecting perspective?
