Lovely Meeting By David Olkarny | More
You know what fuck what people say.
You can have DID/OSDD and still enjoy life.
If you and your alters cooperate well? Be proud of it.
If your persecutors have recovered and changed their behavior? Be proud of it.
If your alters helped you through difficult times? Be proud of it.
If your alters help you keep your body in good health? Be proud of it.
If you have good communication in your system? Be proud of it.
If your DID/OSDD helps you in any way, be proud of it.
Being okay or happy with your diagnosis is not a sign of faking, it’s a sign of recovery and improvement.
You can still have hard days and still struggle and still have times where it is definitely a disability. Because that’s what it is, and it takes from you what others have for granted.
But you can still enjoy life and be happy and find ways to work with your disability, and even find it to be a feature of your identity or find positives in your disability, instead of constantly letting it bring you down or considering it a fatal flaw.
Yes, there are people out there who struggle and are upset and can’t stand their DID/OSDD, but that doesn’t mean YOU have to be the same way.
Don’t let them tell you you’re a fake or you’re wrong for actually finding good things in your disability.
Finding positivity in your mental illness is a sign of growth.
{{ DID/OSDD systems only, please }}
100 Reasons NOT To Kill Yourself
1. We would miss you.
2. It’s not worth the regret. Either by yourself if you failed or just simply left scars, or the regret everyone else feels by not doing enough to help you.

10. What about all the things you’ve always wanted to do? What about the things you’ve planned, but never got around to doing? You can’t do them when you’re dead.

Ask me some questions! Update on my computer: It’s working again. So I will be posting new art (instead of reblogging older posts) They said the water damage was very minimal and it would keep working until it eventually stops. So I’m so grateful I was able to get all my things off of my computer, and not have to worry about buying a new one right now.

egy gondolat bánt engemet
mégpedig az, hogy magam sem tudom pontosan megfogalmazni, hogy mi az, ami bánt.
welcome to my personal hell. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
