Maybe she’ll improve pack unity because I saw her talking to the Heavy 3rd when I walked in.” Her brows furrowed at the mention of twins. The only pair that had been in the area even were Charlie’s nephews. “Twins?”

“We don’t have any twins in our pack. And most of the pack boycotted anyway. Rumor has it Magnus put an anti shifting spell over his place, and that’s a no go for most rats.”

“I’m glad one of us sees the bright side.“

“I’m speaking of Samantha and the man she left me for.“ He joked.

“Thank you.“ Nada answered quickly and curtly. He didn’t want to sit on the subject of her lost too long. “Indeed. Hyenas function better with a female head but it’s not unheard of that males survive for a few months or a year while training a replacement.“
