Finding Meaning & Wisdom

The path to finding meaning & wisdom can mean different things to different people.

With the Wise Living Institute about to celebrate its’ second birthday (CELEBRATION TIME!), I've been reflecting on the inception of WLI and how I wanted it to be visually represented.

A major piece in the creation of the Wise Living Institute was the design and development of a deeply meaningful logo.  Because the logo would visually represent WLI, the elements and design needed to be visual representations of the foundations, mission statement and purpose of WLI.

Listening to Your Inner Wisdom to Discover Your Personal Truth

Listening to your inner wisdom to discover your personal truth may not be simple.  Finding out who you are, listening to your heart, discovering what your personal truth is at any time in your life, and having the courage to follow that, may not come easily.

But it is a skill. And, once developed, it is an art that when practiced leads to walking on the path of joy and abundance.

This goes beyond mindset. It goes beyond simply shifting thoughts from negative to positive. But, you do need to know how to do this.

It also goes beyond being able to feel your emotions and not react to them. But rather, see them as part of your human experience and create the response you want to have.

And lastly, listening to your inner wisdom goes beyond having a strong, healthy, vibrant body. Although you do need to have this to be a receptacle to hearing the wisdom within.

Life begins at the end of your comfort zone or so they say.  Your comfort zone is a place of reliability. A place of predictability.

Finding your purpose and knowing your purpose is the ultimate success tool for living your truth and manifesting your dreams, joy, and prosperity in life.

This purpose ignites the passion that is felt deep within you. It fuels you to take courageous action to live that purpose.

Finding your purpose requires a look into who you are at your core. Through this introspection and seeing what brings you the greatest joy, you begin to discover your own truth. Defining it and deepening your understanding of that truth, brings clarity of what your purpose is. This process of finding and knowing your purpose brings you to a place where you embody it. You are able to express it in five words or less. It is this depth and simplicity that allows you to connect with it often to (re)fuel your world.

TIPS ON SEEING & FOLLOWING THE SIGNS FROM THE UNIVERSE

Seeing & Following the Signs from the Universe gives us confidence in our decisions and choices.

When we have questions or want to be certain of an answer we are making in life, signs from the Universe help to guide us. Seeing & Following the Signs from the Universe, with faith and trust, allows us to step forward confidently and courageously with our soul’s passion toward our dreams.

These are lyrics from a popular song in the 70’s. We are inundated with signs all day long. The signs so many pay attention to are often not the signs that support our passions and our destinies. Rather, the signs we pay attention to are the ones that pave the way with obstacles and frustrations.

Be Smart about what seeing & following the signs from the Universe truly means

Signs that DO NOT help us are the ones that given to us by ‘man.’ The signs from network news, the signs from those telling us what to do. Our minds can give us signs by having a negative mindset of ‘shoulds’ and ‘could haves.’ These, we certainly do not want to follow. However, the Universe answers our questions all the time through a variety of formats. These are the signs that are the guideposts to our lives. These are the signs that when we understand how to call upon them, how to understand them, and how to act upon them gift us clarity and courage to go in the direction of our soul’s purpose.Be Open to the Variety of ways you of seeing & following the signs from the Universe. Nature gives us answers in the form of elements (earth, air, water, fire), weather, and plants. A cloud formation and even rainbows in the sky can be a sign for you.Sounds help guide us. Sound in nature such as certain birds will give us the answer we are seeking. Songs will come over the airways with meaningful lyrics. Someone will say something that seems coincidental to our situation without their even knowing anything about the question we are asking the Universe. Daily activities can be signs as well. For example, taking a wrong turn on the way to an appointment, taking an elevator down when trying to go up, or asking for coffee and having tea served are great signs. They can all be the gift of understanding that a wrong choice is about to be made.
