nobody understands my fascination with bts as somebody who never listened to kpop until a few months ago... they are the only real thing in a sea of copies and industry-made cardboard men who don't write their own songs and can't dance and are racist, while bts is the main reason kpop is in the west in the first place and the entire industry wants to replicate their success but nobody can. to me they r the pearl that wanted so badly to be pried from the clamshell even when it hurt them physically mentally emotionally. they have the best most hype songs i've ever heard that make me salivate and they also have the most atrophic bubblegum pop songs that i can't stand to listen to all the way thru. they all have matching tattoos and they have known each other more than 13 years.. 2 of them did military service together and im pretty sure they r gay... but who knows
