Project 2025 outright calls on conservatives to fund and manufacture more “studies” on the “negative” effects of trans-affirming care.
guess we need to be circulating this psa again. This Is A Fucking Trap. Do Not Participate.
Sometimes the most spiritual thing you can do is clean your room, open the window, and let the air move again. Energy needs circulation just like lungs do.
Btw it's okay to believe magic is real. You don't need to try to logic your way through or obscure science and "spicy psychology" the magic into "rational" things.
I'm 30 years old, I believe in magic and I believe it is **magical**
Sometimes the best way to get unstuck is to just grab the broom and sweep. If it doesn't solve your problem, it will at least clear a path for progress.
The worst part of flexing mediumship muscles is what I like to call "dead people charades."
Like.... okay why are you showing me a playground slide what does that MEAN
[Does that have a meaning for me to figure out or does it have meaning for someone else?]
Oh and also setting boundaries because I don't care if you want your grandbaby to get a message, I don't know you and this already makes me FEEL like a crazy person, I'm not going up to random people, go figure out how to tell them yourself 😂

The hill I will die on in the year of Our Lord 2025 is that "The Three Fold Law" was never actually a thing and Raymond Buckland pulled it out of his ass because he lacked reading comprehension.
You're certainly not the only one to share that opinion (Shocker: There Is No Universal Threefold Law in Wicca). I don't believe its 100% Buckland just making things up, but I very much agree it is a misunderstanding of the source material.
The full quote from High Magic's Aid (Ch 17 pg 188):
"Learn, in Witchcraft, thou must ever return triple. As I scourge thee, so thou must scourge me, but triple, where I gave thee three strokes, give nine, where seven, give twenty-one, where nine, give twenty-seven, where twenty-one, give sixty-three. (For this is the joke in witchcraft, the witch knows, though the initiate does not, that she will get three times what she gave, so she does not strike hard.)...Thou hast obeyed the law. But mark well when thou receivest good, so equally art thou bound to return good threefold."
High Magic's Aid was written with the intention of being a book one could provie a seeker to see their interest, though something that can easily be denied as a simple fictional novel. Gerald Gardner mixed it with genuine folklore, but also his own imagination. Of course, it does contain elements inspired from his experiences in the occult and the New Forest Coven; however, it is far from a guide for practicing witchcraft.
These different traditions are very coven based and will have differences between them, even within the same lineage. Some might find truth in such things, but there are others that could easily disregard any of this. It just really depends.
The more harmful thing is when folks treat it as a universal aspect, applying it to anything and everything. And, I often find that those individuals use it as a moral high ground to fuel their own egos.
If I remember correctly, the exact wording is first found in Buckland's big blue book, which he published after he really parted away from paricipating in Gardnerian craft to focus more on his own brand of Wicca.
To me, it always felt like one interpretation from a coven/individual that spread like wildfire and taken into an extreme. I wonder if part of that could be because of what happens when religious/spiritual beliefs leave the area of their origin and become a snap-shot in time of that belief - being more restorationalist vs letting the belief naturally evolve and change.
scorpio season 🦂 correspondences + ritual
i loooove scorpio season. like, i adore it. i’m a scorpio rising with a stellium in my 1st house, so i basically live here. 💛 scorpio season is about the depths, the mysteries, the things we’re afraid to face. at the same time, it’s a wonderfully supportive energy that is there holding our hands when we take that first step towards the thing that scares us and is always here when we need a reminder that we’re strong enough to keep moving.
correspondences:
💫 colors: black, silver/gray, red 💫 herbs/plants: myrrh, violet, cumin, chilis 💫 crystals: onyx, ruby, tourmaline 💫 tarot cards: XIII Death, Knight of Cups 💫 planets: Pluto (modern); Mars (traditional)
scorpio season grounding ritual
supplies needed: something to write with, a tarot deck (optional), and a bowl or cup of water. if you’d like, you can dress up your ritual with one of the correspondences: add violet flowers to your water, place the XIII Death card on your altar, or choose a reading cloth in one of the colors!
steps:
i’d invite you to open your practice however you like; it can be as simple as going to the space where you’re going to do your practice and visualizing a protective bubble encircling you. it can also be as simple as sitting down to your practice space!
if you’d like, take a look at the journal prompts for scorpio. or, journal for a few minutes about your goal, any steps you’ve taken, any steps you’ve missed, and how you feel about your goal now. what’s working? what’s not? what does successful completion look like now that you’re a month in, a third of the way through?
focus your energy on whatever you defined as successful completion and submerge your hand into your bowl of water (or your pinky into the cup, or your body into the tub – whatever container you have on hand is perfect!). pay attention to how it feels on your skin. work to really be in the moment, letting everything else drift away while only you and your aim remain behind.
return to your journal. look with a fresh set of eyes at the subtasks you’ve set out for the next two months. what do you need to change? what do you need to do to make things more sustainable moving forward?
if you want to do a tarot reading, consider checking out the scorpio season spread here or do whatever reading you might prefer!
close your practice however you like – visualize popping the bubble, clap your hands, say you’re done out loud, or simply walk away!
see you for the release ritual at sagittarius season 💛
Friendly reminder to all my witchy and pagan friends and neighbors that Not Everyone Does Witchery The Same Way.
Not everyone will use components or methods or rituals in the same way. Not everyone subscribes to the same beliefs or traditions or even uses of common materials. Not everyone will do the same sorts of magic or consider the same things integral to their craft.
THIS IS NORMAL AND ACCEPTABLE.
No matter how long you've been studying or practicing or what your level of expertise is, you're going to have to accept that other practitioners will do things differently. It doesn't matter if it matches up with what you believe or what you've been taught. And rather than insisting on one's own infallibility or arguing over points of meaningless minutiae, a prudent witch will take the opportunity to learn something.
(Obviously, this does not apply in situations where one encounters bigotry or predatory behavior or misinformation/disinformation that could cause actual harm. But if you're going to argue with someone over whether the particulars of their craft work the way YOU think they should, you're wasting everyone's time.)

Boy howdy do I wish the n4z! psycho who believes they're spirit married to serial killers would STAY blocked FFS
Listen, I believe in some woo woo ass stuff and it's okay if you don't believe that! Truly. But like... I have limits to the amount of woo I'm apt to believe lmfao
Did I buy a REM pod specifically for the reason it looked like a carousel and that's kind of my aesthetic?!
Oh absolutely. ABSOLUTELY I did. 😂
I can't wait until it gets here so Ghost Friend™️ and Company can play with it LMAO
Little Loki Pride invocation/prayer
May Loki join us for Pride,
May Loki join and protect those who go out to celebrate and protest.
May we break that which binds us from being true with their aid.
May the shapeshifting trickster celebrate with us,
May the god of many faces protect and support us that go against the norm.
