“gloaming”
—
(noun) Defined as twilight and dusk, gloaming symbolizes the day’s end, the glittery, transient echo when time and nature meet. Author Joan Didion reminds us of the ephemeral nature of dusk in her book, Blue Nights. She writes:
“The French called this time of day ‘l’heure bleue.’ To the English it was ‘the gloaming.’ The very word ‘gloaming’ reverberates, echoes—the gloaming, the glimmer, the glitter, the glisten, the glamour—carrying in its consonants the images of houses shuttering, gardens darkening, grass-lined rivers slipping through the shadows.”
What’s that? You said your idea isn’t unique enough? You’re not sure that you can pull it off? You’re scared you might not succeed?
That’s okay. Me too. Take my hand and let’s brave it together, shall we?

“To romanticise the world is to make us aware of the magic, mystery and wonder of the world; it is to educate the senses to see the ordinary as extraordinary, the familiar as strange, the mundane as sacred, the finite as infinite.”

“When I say be creative, I don’t mean that you should all go and become great painters and great poets. I simply mean let your life be a painting, let your life be a poem.”

Invite With Ease
Do not try to manifest anything with force or urgency. Pause or be silent until you can feel calmness and connection with the Universe. Your life will reflect back to you your intention, your emotions. If you are manifesting and having fun doing it - more experiences will occur where you feel the same level of happiness, or even more. Remember this often, especially if the appointed time for your desire hasn’t come yet and you are tempted to feel impatient.
“I crave a love so deep the ocean would be jealous.”
— Tahere Mafi
isn’t it disgusting how american society only expects people to grieve for a few days until returning back to their everyday lives? that we should either overcome or repress our trauma of losing a loved one before the week is over with?
now im not saying that we should bring back the mourning periods of the victorian era BUT
delicate is that time of day when the clouds are rosy pink and the light starts to leave the sky giving a blue tone to the city as it starts to fall asleep.
