Tell me, what else could possibly go wrong?
As we took on Myrtle Beach for Spring Break 2k15, we never thought that this trip could go as awry as it did. Hey, for our first Spring Break we did pretty well for ourselves. I mean at least we can say we made it back in one piece, right?
You really don't believe me that we could have managed to screw up a trip that badly? We compiled a list of absolutely everything that went wrong. So here is our list on how NOT to Spring Break...
Day 1:
1. Erin was late = whole squad late
2. 80 Concord Road doesn't exist. Where's Lena's house?
3. Flight was delayed an hour
4. McKenzie doesn't even recognize her own friends in the airport
5. Erin gets sick in the supermarket
6. Bojangles is closed
Day 2:
7. North Myrtle Beach? Is that a separate town from Myrtle Beach?
8. Stranded at McDonald's, looking homeless
9. McKenzie gets sick at the hotel and is in bed all day
10. Bed bug epidemic
11. Because why would Barefoot Landing be open?
12. Two people's ID's get snapped in half
13. Erica then loses her ID in the club
14. McKenzie could very well be dead at home...aka she's not answering the phone
15. Angela (the hotel owner) is a sassy bitch
Day 3:
16. We over slept on the nicest beach day
17. Why wouldn't you take an interview drunk?
18. Get to the club and McKenzie doesn't have an ID
19. We lost McKenzie
Day 4:
20. No one dressed for the bitter cold on the Boardwalk
Day 5:
21. Rain. All. Day.
22. Snow in New York? Let's get an earlier flight!
23. Our new flight gets cancelled, our old flight is still on.
24. We can't get on a flight until Monday...
Day 6:
25. Road Trip from Myrtle Beach to Long Island
26. Cars and snow don't mix well
27. Erin can't park the car at the drop off site
But, nonetheless we did have an amazing time. I also couldn't imagine spending a week with anyone else other than my best friends. However, next time I'm planning the trip!

Some of the things that I find most interesting when I travel are the cities that have a back story. These will definitely be on the travel bucket list!
For one reason or another, some cities die. Some are abandoned because they become uninhabitable. Others because they no longer have a use. These are cities that have been left to rot. | From travel-facts
Why post? Why now?
Travel has been something that I have been doing since I was a baby. My first trip to Disney World occurred before I was 1, I have seen about 15 out of 50 states (thatâs just an approximation, itâs probably more), I traveled to Europe at the age of 17 while many of my friends still havenât even left the country, and I plan to study abroad next year in Florence, Italy.
I guess you could say that travel captured my mind at a young age. However, travel isn't just something that has captured my mind, I am undoubtedly fascinated by it. There's just something about traveling that makes me whole and gives me purpose. This is why I have turned to blogging about my travel experiences past, present and future.
There are so many times where I have wanted to travel to certain places, but I don't know where to even begin. When I was younger, most of my trip planning was done through my parents. As I have grown older, I have noticed that it can sometimes be hard to find reliable sources about travel destinations. Trying to pick out the right information through faulty websites is time consuming and annoying, so why not find them all right here?
Throughout trips in the past I have learned the "must do's" and the "what not to do's" when it comes to hotels, activities, sightseeing and transportation. Hopefully my experiences will guide and inspire you to visit the places you have been so curious about. From simple tips in Disney World to the must sees in Greece, this is the place to read about the places that have gotten my adrenaline pumping and have lead me to love traveling even more than before.
