Honestly I forgot how powerful 3d is as a reference tool. It only took me a few minutes to draft up a rough 3D model of Valefar's horns. Also, here is the reference I worked with if anyone is interested. I found that seeing another artist's reference recently helped me. Here's me hoping I can help someone too.
