intro post !

hey babes! so here’s a little intro on laurence here! he’s oliver wood’s father, and like father like son ... ( like son like father? ) he’s into quidditch! he’s the gryffindor seeker

laurence can pretty much be summed up as being the boy with good intentions. where he gets doesn’t always match where he wanted to be

he’s from scotland and grew up on a cute little farm ( his papa was a wizard and his momma was a muggle ) and is basically the wizarding equivalent of a plowboy? *hence the muscles damn*

he’s also a little bit of a little shit who doesn’t know when to keep his mouth shut, like one of the words i used in his app was ‘indelicate’ which is so accurate he’s a verbal oaf lumbering through every interaction he has

the other negative word i used for him was bullheaded because damn stubborn fuck, like he may say something rude by accident but he will defend whatever he says, honestly i was really torn between making him a puff and a gryff cause he has this kind’a.. dark puff quality about him? like honest to a fault to the point where its a little concerning, and never goes back on his word

but he’s a total gryff too, almost is a self righteous way, and has dreams of being ‘ knightly ’ he’s noble as hell and chivalrous with a brave ( foolhardy? ) streak. what he choses to defend is because of his puff qualities, but how and why he defends them is because he is a gryff.

it’s almost time for me to hit the hay because i am a baby child so i’m not sure how much sense those bullets made?

he’s super charismatic though, which might be the only reason people chose to tolerate him?

 i imagine oliver got his caring ( seen when he looks out for the team like a papa bear of some sort ) from his mother, and laurence’s nobleness and loyalty comes out in more of a .. tough love deal
