In March, I started painting California flowers. I started with a small illustration of a leopard lily and loved the process-result so much that I started painting my way through the natives of California. Once I had a handful, I worked my butt off all summer to create a design that I loved. Something I could turn into paper goods of all sorts. Last weekend, I put them all on display after long nights and early mornings of preparation. And it paid off! People loved my new work and I could not be happier. I wasn’t sure the setting would be right but I knew there’d be someone out there who would like the designs. A camper, a hiker, an outdoorsman. There were more than I expected. Thank you to everyone who supported me! What I have left over is on Etsy now (etsy.com/shop/LeckArtPaper) and I will be ordering more!
