J Roddy Walston Christmas at The Broadberry this year did NOT disappoint! What a super fun night! He brought his lovely wife Sarah on stage for a few songs and she sang so beautifully! I already can’t wait for next year.

I saw the band Colin Phils last night for the first time. It was a great show! Check them out.
Wonka Wonderland at Gallery 5. What a fun night! So many fun Wonka details!
No BS Brass killed it this weekend at The Broadberry in Richmond, VA! They played a lot of great new music and I am stoked about the new record they are working on!
Wow, what a delightfully beautiful afternoon. I sometimes forget that I don’t always have to chase beautiful sunsets. I first met and fell in love with Richmond on a cloudy day many years ago. I love this river city.
I got to see Sam Reed and her band play at Night Market last night. What a wonderful show. I am enjoying getting to see live music again so very much.

This year’s Halloween Parade in Richmond, VA did NOT disappoint!
I need to learn from you please Can you work me through some of your basic go to keys when it come timing, lighting & getting those crispy tight focus images🙏
Hi! I am horrible at checking messages so I apologize if you sent this long ago! With lighting, if I'm not in a studio, I try to make sure I have a flash on me, but since my main focus (before Covid at least) is live music, I usually get to enjoy whatever light show is happening on stage. I try to shoot pretty wide open to catch as much light as possible. I try to put shutter speed somewhere around 200 or 250 if I'm doing live music. Slower like 100 if I'm just shooting a portrait or landscape. Is that helpful? Do you have any specific questions?
I went and saw live music this weekend for the first time in a long time. It felt really great. It’s something I used to do every week. I don’t think I ever took it for granted, but I don’t think I let myself realize until this weekend just how much I missed it. What a sweet treat. If you don’t know about No BS Brass, check them out. They are from right here in Richmond, Virginia.

Congratulations to the cast of Outburst! They worked hard and put together a great sketch comedy show. It felt so great to get out and laugh. Thank you!

I had the pleasure recently of doing a headshot shoot with the talented and hilarious Jesse Hill.
Almost got caught in the rain at beautiful Forrest Hill Park.
She’s new here.
