this scene feels like a fever dream. it just drives me crazy how damen is probably the only man who could ever subdue laurent like this, and how that's exactly what he's doing rather than fighting. he's just pinning him down and letting him ride it out, not even counterattacking, and the 'no you don't' and the 'that's enough' just make it all so much more delicious i can't describe what this scene does to me. i think it summarizes their dynamic very well. damen is the only man who could ever restrain laurent like this, talk to him like this, successfully hold him down all through a small meltdown and stay in control despite his own distress and come out of it alive on top of it all.

not to mention laurent is, at the same time, the only one capable of making damen snap out of an episode of rage
