Update (1/23/21)

Hi everyone, it’s been a while! So sorry that I haven’t been active on here recently. I haven’t purchased any Violet exacts since the end of summer since most are harder to find and more expensive now. I wouldn’t say this is an end to my collection, though. I still love Violet and her style. I’ve been thinking about purchasing the Free People “All Over Lace” Pullover in White. Ideally, I’d love to own the purple or “Teak” color, but it’s hard to find one, if any, for a reasonable price.

I really would like to wear Violet’s exacts more often, but I don’t really leave my house that much because of the pandemic. I just end up wearing a sweatshirt or sweatpants around the house. One difficult thing about collecting Violet exacts is that you have to hand wash most pieces. So, I don’t really like lounging around and getting them dirty for no reason, since hand washing can be a pain sometimes. It’s also been very cold outside recently, so I’m not able to wear some exacts I own unless I wear lots of layers with it. I’m so excited for it to get slightly warmer outside so I can comfortably wear them!

Update (8/17/20)

Hi everyone! So sorry for being inactive recently. I just wanted to make a quick update post. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to buy any exacts recently since they’re either very expensive or it’s just that nobody is selling them. If I happen to find any more exacts then hopefully i’ll be able to purchase. I’m looking forward to fall so I can finally wear some of my exacts! Hope everyone is doing well! :)

Exacts Update (7/15/20)

Hi everyone! Today I received the UO Blake Cardigan and the Gap Floral Dress in the mail! Both of these exacts are super pretty and they fit me perfectly. I love both of them and I’m so excited that they came so early! These two pieces bring me up to 7 total exacts. I can’t wait for fall and winter so I can wear everything without it being 90° outside. I’m very happy with my collection so far!

Finding Violet Exacts

Hi! If anyone ever needs help finding some exacts, please don’t hesitate to message me! I’ll be glad to help you find what you’re looking for. I’ve found almost every Violet exact on at least one website (Depop, Poshmark, Ebay, etc.) within the past month. However, there are some exacts that are nearly impossible to find. I can always post or send some links for exacts if anyone is interested! I know the name of every Violet exact out there as well. Exacts Update (7/12/20)

Hi everyone! I’ve now been collecting Violet exacts for one month! Wow. I can’t believe a month has already passed. I’m now up to 7 total exacts, since I have 6 Violet exacts and 1 Zoe exact. I’m also proud since I’ve gotten all my exacts for a fairly cheap price! There are still a lot of exacts that I want to buy in the future, but I’ll have to wait until there are new listings posted online.

Today, I purchased the Urban Outfitters “Blake Cardigan” in Rust, the cardigan that Violet wears in Apocalypse! I also ordered her Gap dress that goes with it, which is currently in the mail. I’m super excited since I now have an exact outfit! Violet seems to be wearing a light grey undershirt with the dress and cardigan, but I don’t think it has been identified. She also wears a pair of tights with combat boots.

Once the dress and cardigan arrive, I’ll post some pictures of my exacts collection so far!

Exacts Update (7/9/20)

Hi everyone! I just bought Violet’s Gap “Fit and Flare Button-Front Floral Print Dress” on Depop for only $12! This is the dress she wears in Apocalypse and it’s the only outfit she wears as Violet in the season. I’ve been looking for the dress for a while and I’m so happy I found it in my usual size! I also plan on buying the Urban Outfitters “Blake Cardigan” in Rust (the cardigan she wears with it), which I will probably buy sometime within the next week. Hopefully I can get the cardigan so I’ll have an exact outfit! If anyone is interested, I found 2 other listings for the Gap dress on Depop. I can send a link, just message me if you would like it!

Hi everyone! Today I wore my FP “Spending Time Pullover” over some jean shorts and a tank top. Also, I noticed that on the back that there are 2 horizontal lines that go across instead of just the 1 line. I’m not sure if it’s a manufacturing error or not, but I’ve only ever seen the pullover have 1 horizontal line/synch along the back. Maybe it was a product change made prior to 2011 or afterwards, but I’m not sure. Regardless, the pullover is so pretty and has such a beachy vibe to it! A cashier told me she liked it and asked where I got it, and when I told her it was from Free People, she said that it had that ~vibe~ to it. I’ve gotten compliments on all of my exacts I’ve worn in public so far! I find it funny since they’re all at least from 2011, yet people still like them! I’m glad that they’re still considered “in style”. I guess Violet really did have a great sense of style!
