I can feel it in the air 🥰 Spring is here! Time for flowers, blossoms and all the pastels 😍 If you know me you know I love this time of year! Needless to say I was so happy to see some blossoms already popping out the other day! Keen to pay my lovely local Greenwich park a visit to see the wonderful cherry blossom, but I think there's still a long wait for those to blossom (they've always been a tad behind 🤷‍♀️). In the meantime, here's a photo I took in Greenwich last year on my birthday (so almost a year ago now). Little did we know how the world would change and what the future would bring. Happy New Year 🎆 Decided to dress up for NYE, had a big dinner, watched FRIENDS, danced to all our favourite songs and drank all the bubbly 🍾 We were hoping for some fireworks and we were not disappointed. @mayorofldn put on an amazing display at @theo2london and we got to see a bit of it from our balcony. And the whole of London was popping with fireworks for hours. Ballet midnight magic special! 🩰💃 [cue Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy 🎵] I practiced ballet for just a little over 1 year when I was about 10 and I absolutely loved it! Only gave it up as there were sadly no classes for adults in my hometown. I never got the chance to put on pointe shoes so I decided to make this little dream come true this year. And when I saw @annabelsmayfair Christmas display I knew it was a sign! How did I do? 🩰 This display is absolutely phenomenal 👏 😍 there's a little ballet sequence projected on the windows and Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy blasting through the street! Absolute magic! The True Spirit of Christmas 🌟 and a little midnight magic on @regentstreetw1 💃❄🌨 I will never get tired of these glorious angels soaring high above Regent Street. And they're even more magical at night 😍 Continuing my Magic Nights series with a photo I failed to capture so many times 🤣 this photo took 4 trips into central but so worth it! First trip I tried capturing it with my DSLR but photos turned out too dark... 2nd trip we got there, parked and the lights went out straight away! On our 3rd trip London was just too busy so we didn't find it safe enough to be out. Happy Monday! 🥰 I'm back as a festive flamingo 😂 but this time in @coventgardenldn. When you stumble upon a Harry Potter shop in the Harry Potter village, you take a photo with the Harry Potter sign 😅 #harrypotter Wishing I could hop on the Hogwarts Express right about now! Who here is a Potter head? 🙋‍♀️ I absolutely adore the story, it was such a big part of my childhood. Now an even bigger question. Books or movies? 🤔 I think for me it has to be the books 📚 Every year in December we have a Harry Potter marathon and since I've visited Lacock I've always been keeping an eye out for familiar sights. Longing for a good old road trip! 🚗 I always loved getting in the car and driving out of London aimlessly, discovering new places. Always taking the small country roads and admiring the gorgeous little villages and towns I would come across. Which team are you in motorway vs country roads? Save for some of the best road trips to take in the UK (from where I've been myself 🥰) ○ Scotland - you need to drive around Scotland at least once in your life! From Edinburgh all around to Loch Lomond, up and around the mystical Isle of Skye, across to Aberdeen seeing Nessie on the way and down to Edinburgh. ○ Wales - start from Cardiff and follow the coast into Pembrokeshire and then up to Aberystwyth and all the way into Holyhead via Snowdonia. Then pay Llandudno a visit and head back down towards Cardiff. ○ Cotswolds - oh, the gorgeous British honey coloured villages of Cotswolds. Start from Lacock and Castle Combe and head up towards Bibury and Stow-on-the-Water. Can be done in one day if you start early enough ○ Jurassic Coast - stretching across the South Coast of England, prepare for fantastic sights such as Durdle Door and the vast stretch of water by your side. ○ Dover - the famous English white cliffs. Start from Margate for the retro vibes, go via Botany Bay and make sure to see Vikings Bay in Broadstairs and keep following the coast into Dover. November may usually be grey but I'll forever be in awe of London's Autumnal colours 🍂🍁 Even though this year I didn't get to enjoy the seasons changing too much, I will as always live vicariously through older photos. Hoping for a walk into Greenwich Park these coming days simply to go run around over some crunchy leaves haha Who else is forever a child?🙋‍♀️ Anyway, I wanted to put together a short list of autumnal places I would have loved to visit this year. Save this for future travel plans in London (be it in Autumn or not, you won't be disappointed either way 😊) 🍁 The gorgeous Kynance Mews, featured in this photo and in a previous one on my feed. Gorgeous fiery red arch and amazing leaf-covered walls 👌 🏰 Hampstead - just about anywhere would do, can't be disappointed! Take a walk up through the narrow leafy streets and make sure to see the Pergola 🤩 and the gorgeous fiery red house on Fitzjohns Avenue. ⛪ St Dunstan in the East - ruins of a church destroyed in WWII that is now a public garden.
