Bonus that is a bit lowkey but a personal favourite: Helga Hufflepuff, according to the Sorting Hat, was the only one of the Hogwarts Founders who was willing to teach magic to any kid without condition ("i'll take the lot and teach them all the same", paraphrasing one of the song, i forget which one it is). Helga basically invented the concept of the republican, universal school, in the middle of the dark ages. I really love her for that.
