Morgana stood at the end of a long table that housed some of the auction items, the piece she came for was surrounded by interested event goers standing in her way to see the item she wanted. She had been planning on finishing the shop’s inventory that evening, but there was an ad on her Fablegram account of one Witches Guide to Healing, a piece too valuable to not try and bid on.
She had been so lost in her thoughts she didn’t quite listen to the woman speak next to her. Morgana bit her lip, looking from the guide to Lavinia. “Oh, hi, Lavinia, was it? Nice to see you agai- I’m sorry, am I in your way?” She asked, trying to move over a bit closer to the guide. They were standing before a ‘petrait’ of a Rescue Dog, Mo was surprised to see such a piece here tonight, as it seemed to be a very particular niche that didn’t quite seem to fit in with everything else.
“You wouldn’t happen to know how much the Witches Guide is, would you?” She asked with a smile.
“ Yes, that’s right. And you’re Morgana, if I remember correctly? It’s nice to see you again.” she said, meaning it like any Fae always meant what they said. “ Don’t worry about it, I can see it fine from here. I’m thinking about buying this Rescue Dog painting. A friend of mine is a firefighter, so it seems like the perfect present.” she told her as she had come here with Cartwright and was in no way ashamed of their friendship.
“ I don’t know, I’m sorry. I hope it doesn’t at too steep a price for you. I don’t follow magic items too much I’m afraid.” She said and looked at the book she was looking for. “ It does look stunning. If you get it you will have to show it to me.”
