I just LIVE for the idea of Shizuma having Itachi's illness.

U can control that topic how u want n give It certain importance to your story because we really don't know what this guy had

My favorite thing to do is just him thinking he's all big n important and then BOOM! Starts coughing blood, has a mental breakdown, realizes he can NOT survive w out help n immediately thinks "Well craps, I had the best friends ever n I fucked up"

Personally, in my AU, his illness is controlled by pills and the lack of stress, the more stress there is, the worse the symptoms of his illness become, and the pain expands. That time he spent with his friends, that he fell in love (if he did..) freed him from stress to the point that his pills were just a supplement to not get worse, even if he thought to himself "i'm using them"

Once he left them, he lived for himself, he lived to survive, didn't think of anyone, according to him he was fine, but.. Who would make him laugh now? Who will accompany him at lunches? Who would idolize him to death? Who would show him the love that no one ever showed him? NOBODY.

And that's the problem, he doesn't have ANYONE now, he pushed them away, he's going to get worse n freaking die, it's his fault and there's nothing he can do to fix it, unless...

Anyways! that's where my idea ends! My AU is the craziest and most meaningless thing you'll ever see so when I talk about it I'll most likely only mention the coherent parts, lol

(I have a lot to say abt this, I LOVE angst n I Love making him feel guilty for all the things he has done, so yeah expect this again🙏)

I like the idea of animals(specifically cats) hating Shizuma just because.. Because yes, but imagine this 10 times funnier, only when he grew up.

Imagine him when he was little having cats around him all the time, and then when he turned 16 he tried to pet a stray cat and it inmediatly hissed at him and tried to scratch him, after that he noticed that every freaking cat did the same, got freaking trauma and everytime he sees a cat he needs to change directions or it will try to attack him or at least hiss.

(Think about Buntan one day picking up a cat and bringing it to the place where her n the gang hide n Shizuma just going "GET THAT THING OUT. " while jumping on Kyoho's arms cuz he's the tallest, peak fiction)

In many scenes we have seen how several characters have visibly sharp teeth, that is to say that pointed (triangular) shape

They appear not only in the Boruto saga, but also in Naruto. And it just so happens that for all those characters, their teeth are REALLY sharp, they're pointed, but for Shizuma, somehow, the tip of his teeth is always a little flat or round, never having that tip that makes you call them pointy.

"But Law, There is a possibility that they are animation mistakes"

Yeah but guess what.. Idc 🥹 This “mistake” has occurred in too many scenes to be counted (with the exception of some clips of the final Shizuma vs. Kagura and Boruto fight), but do you want me to be honest? In my personal opinion, I think they made him that way just for the aesthetics, or maybe his emotions inflicted on how his teeth looked (just as they do with his gills, idk, let me be delusional??) becuz yeah guys, Shizuma is part of a novel, a filler, it's not canon nor does he appear in the manga. So it's obvious that they're not going to give so much detail to a character that's not important to the plot, but is okay to dream sometimes.

You can even see that his teeth get totally sharp JUST when Samehada does this "fusion" thing w him

In my personal opinion, I like to think that the missing sharpness of his teeth makes up for it with hardness, his teeth are very hard, he can bite and penetrate things without the fear of them breaking because he knows he will endure, in a scene we see that just by bumping his teeth he makes a “metallic” sound indicating how hard they can be, but again.. They don't get to be pointy at all.

I love that of him honestly becuz we even can see Hebiichigo having super natural sharp teeth, the same w Buntan and others, so it's something that just happens to him lol

Shizuma was not compatible w samehada becuz of how weak he was, Many times we have been told that to control Samehada you need an enormous amount of chakra because it is a sword with a life of its own and is VERY hungry, that's why only people like Kisame or Killer Bee could hold them, Bee being a jinchūriki and Kisame being known as the “tailless Bijū" (or smth like that) because of his immense chakra.

But that does not make Shizuma less cool or powerfull(? Lmao, after all he was able to hold samehada w out it gettin mad or smth, the thing got bad after the fight and when he got tired, that red mist made him lose a lot of chakra so yeah

Okay so my hiperfixation w this guy didn't end, it was just.. Paused.

When w talk bout Shizuma in a Kisaita AU, where he's their son (biologic, not adopted) i like to think he keeps his eye color.

I'm not really a fan of those fanfics where they make his eyes black or smth, leave my baby alone, he has such pretty blue eyes😒

Honestly, my favorite (and I hope original) idea is that Shizuma is.. A little blind. Itachi heritage? Maybe, but what's more, his eye color is due to depigmentation, and that depigmentation makes his eyes weaker (ofc..) Depigmentation is due to the fact that biologically speaking, a birth for a man would be very difficult. Maybe the baby even comes out with health problems, and in this case, Shizuma's blindness is that problem🥱 (also i like to introduce a lil bit of angst and give him Itachi's disease.. But that's another story)

(Plus some sharks are kinda blind? So yeah)

Hey so, I had a favorite fanfic where Shizuma was the main character, it was on Wattpad and it was the fluffiest thing there was.

The fanfic was in Spanish and it was called "Cartas de papá" (Dad's Letters) And the chapters dealt with different letters that Kisame had previously left to Shizuma as a memory before his death and the reactions Shizuma had to them

It was really one of the most beautiful fanfics I saw and it's a shame that it suddenly disappeared, it left my library and apparently they deleted it from Wattpad and I Don't even remember the autor's name, it's a shame but I'll always have that fanfic in my heart 🙁

I think it's obvious that if it were true that Shizuma is the son of Kisaita, he wouldn't know them, because both are dead, so Ningyo and Shizuma were separated as children to be protected in the ninja war. Needless to say, when they reunited, the connection was so strong that neither of them hesitated to run into each other's arms.
