Yesterday, my family and many friends came together to celebrate my Grandparent's 50th. They were married on August 1st, 1970 but Grandma always reminds us that she's been dealing with this man for 53 years. Both of them are educators so it only made sense that they met in German Class at the ages of 18 and 21. . If you know my Grandparents, they've either touched you with their kindness, generosity, discipline, wisdom or with some sort of education. Whichever it is, they have impacted your life in a way you did not expect. I was amazed to see the number of people who joined us. Relatives, friends, students (current and former) and royalty from all over the world. It was honestly the best gift we could give them even without the current circumstance. . My favourite part about these two love birds is exactly that. At midnight of their anniversary, I called them, we spoke for about an hour and it felt so good to hear them talking about their love like it was so fresh and new. My grandparents are also ridiculously hilarious so they are always poking fun at eachother and that has not changed in 53 years. . I love the two of you with all my heart and I'm so grateful that I've had your guidance especially when it comes to this coconut head of mine. You've set the bar so high for the kind of love I should seek but that's okay because I won't settle for less. I wish you many more years and I can't wait till I hug and kiss you both again. From you first and favourite grandchild, Lamisko, Lamiskelele, Lamiskontolo.❤️ (at Where I Wanna Be) https://www.instagram.com/p/CDZv8xkljCv/?igshid=1d9amcrnjo396
