when a car is driving too close behind the car in front of it

going to the ballpark or stadium and cooking out behind you car before the game

i use the word for 2 of the uses

i use the word for all 3 definitions

Reblog with your state (if usa) or country. My aunt who has lived outside of her birth state/my state (WI) for many years has never heard of tailgating being used for driving too close to the car in front of you.
