extras: Grim takes blame for everything that goes wrong. She is super sweet and caring, but can get mean and threatening when pushed too far. She is extremely good at killing things and is proficient in most weapons. She does have some magic such as telekinesis, but if you’d prefer that not be a thing, I can simply ignore that feature. :)

This place tingles his skin. Eerie. That’s all he say about this place. But he felt there is so much more to this place. He kept quiet as he enters the halls. As his quiet footsteps wander the castle, he heard the voice. He turns to see the young man.
He was not sure what to think of him. But after a few seconds, he spoke up, “Hello.” He crossed his arms.
“A-Ah!” The sight of another human being certainly brings a wave of relieve to Alfendi, and he takes a moment to adjust his labcoat with intent of looking somewhat presentable. “So there is someone else around here after all! What a pleasant relief! I was afraid i’d be left to my own devices- my what a disaster that would be!”
somewhere in level-5′s offices there’s a filing cabinet with a folder inside labeled “layton 7″ and i’m willing to bet this is all that’s in that folder

Luke decided it was best to forget about what had happened a few moments before.
“Moodswings? That’s when you have a rapid change in mood, right? But, why are you having them? Is there anything I can do to help?”
“No Luke, i’m afraid there isn’t much you can do about them. I manage them as best I can, but if it happens again there’s no need to be afraid.” Clearing his throat, Alfendi turns to look down the hall. “Now, have you discovered anything important?”
I’m not afraid of dying. Pieces of me die all the time.

Luke looked slightly shocked as he watched Alfendi appear to freak out at the mere sight of him. What he had done to warrant such words thrown at him?
Well, Luke wasn’t sure, but he guess that he had a good reason to say what he was saying.
“I-It’s a pleasure to see you too…What exactly were you going to say before, though?”
A nervous chuckle, and a scratch behind the neck, and Alfendi moves to adjust his labcoat. “Ah, i’m sorry Luke, it’s of no importance.” A sigh. “I don’t know how much my.. father.. has told you, but i’m a tad different than the last time we met. I tend to have... moodswings, if you will. Do you know what moodswings are?”

“YOU!” An accusing finger- though shaky- points at the blue-clad boy before him. Of all the possible people for Alfendi to run into in this WRETCHED PLACE, It has to be Luke! Here he is in flesh in blood, his REPLACEMENT!
“What are you doing here you blasted scummy piece of-”
ALFENDI!
“Er, uh, it’s a pleasure to see you, Luke.”

「 Alf… Alfendi. 」
A name so obscure from her own oriental roots caused her hesitation, even as she delicately grasped the man’s hand to give it a light shake. Upon releasing his hand, her tongue clicked and she taps her hand into her palm.
「 There was a painting of a family on the wall where I woke up in. I couldn’t see their faces clearly, but I’m assuming that the people in the painting are the owners of this… place. 」
“Ah! Indeed! I suppose it’s a bit hard to see in the dark but There’s a plaque that says it’s a portrait of the Fo- “ Alfendi catches himself just in time, nervously running a hand through his hair with another chuckle. “I’m not supposed to say that name apparently. Anyways, as I was saying, It’s a family portrait I believe. All of the evidence I could gather lead to that deduction.”
“ Ah… an actual person. ” Almost immediately, she CEASES with charcoal hues instantly swiveling towards him. Little by little, relief floods her visage as Vivian initiates a lazy wave towards him. At least he heard, right?
“ Welp, HELLO to you too, grumpy stranger. You wanna try it? Who knows. It might prove calming. ” Sure enough, she saunters closer, trailing behind languid footfalls.
“Do I LOOK like I want to try it!? Put it away you idiot!” Snippish as ever, the inspector stalks in the direction of his new companion with full intent to swipe that blasted pen right out of her hand. How foolish could one really be? “You could very well have drawn forth someone- or something other than myself! Stupid girl.”
The teen nods, wiping at her face to hide the fact he gave her a freight. Optics narrow a tad, trying to squint through the blinding light of her cellphone to see whom she came in contact with. It was a vague depiction, yet the focal point of his features was a sharp-elongated nose. Definitely a man, however.
At least she wouldn’t be ultimately alone during this horrible cascade of events - a ghost by the name of Dianne - fixed schedules… What an awful situation. It would be easier to introduce herself rather than relying upon pleasantry “sir” or “mister.”
「 I didn’t expect to be stuck in here with other people. So… hearing your voice scared me. I’m sorry. Um – my name is Saya. 」
“Ah, thank goodness your name isn’t Dianne! I was a tad worried you were her- but the cellphone speaks otherwise. I wish I could say it’s nice to meet you- but i’m afraid that under these circumstances I’d rather not be meeting you here.” A slight chuckle, and a hand is extended for the girl to shake if she so pleases. “My name is Alfendi. We’re both stuck in the same situation it seems.”
“ I’m so BORED... what’s a girl to do around here in a dark place without any WiFi? Or any form of entertainment to even speak of? ” she sighs to herself, sauntering slowly && cautiously through a dimly lit, dreary CORRIDOR of the South Tower. Rather absentmindedly, fingers fumbled around a ballpoint pen, which she clicks && unclicks to fill the unnerving silence. Oh, for now, she’ll MAKE the best of this strange situation, EVEN if it was only her first day day here.
But who knows? Maybe this was the a good scenario for a potential story or novel.
‘Would you STOP with that godforsaken CLICKING? It’s by far the most annoying sound i’ve heard in this castle and I would greatly appreciate it if we could put an end to it!” Admittedly, it’s just about the ONLY sound he’s heard so far, but he still doesn’t see why that would excuse it’s annoying nature. Thusly, he attempts to yell at the unknown stranger from the main hall. “Damn these echos.”
「 Kyaa! 」
A shrill scream erupted from the darkness; an effeminate figure scrambling after a fallen object as her features were obscured by the expansiveness of the blackness of the hall. Upon retrieving the object, a beam of light shown down the narrow passage. Beyond the light, a young small teen.
「 Is… there someone there?! 」
Having been alone for several minutes, the suddenness of another possible occupant of the enigmatic residence horrified her - who, what, and why? Panic set in and adrenaline began to pump through veins - the phone’s light shaking and unsteady. It was not that she was afraid of the dark – no, but a horrible realization struck her; she was spirited away.
“Ah! Oh, Hold on a moment!” A spindly hand reaches out, gently taking the phone from the stranger. A few clicks here and there and viola! A (somewhat) better flashlight! Alfendi shines it upon the girl for a moment, examining her features. She seems rather modern- what with her phone and all. And he can’t help but deem her to be harmless “I hope I didn’t scare you, I was simply looking to see if there were others.”
