Hey you know that new style I was developing? Well I said screw it and developed a different style

So I drew up a couple pictures of two new gems I’ve made, Apatite (the blue one) and Tangerine Quartz (the orange one)

The other two gems are someone else’s that I drew for an art trade

Inktober Day 2

Welcome! Consider the second day of #Inktober completed! Today I drew Psilomelane as Dr. Frankenstein’s terrifying monster! (can’t draw Aquamarine without also drawing Psilomelane at least once ;3)

Materials used: A rolling ball pen, a thin sharpie, and a permanent marker

Time taken: Sketch maybe 20-30 mins. Inking at most an hour

Inktober Day 1

So I know this is kinda last minute, it’s 11:45 PM as I type this, but I did it! I just finished the first day of #Inktober! I decided to draw Aquamarine as the original vampire, Dracula!

Materials used: A good ballpoint pen, a rolling ball pen, and a permanent marker

Time taken: A long time I dunno, I just know I almost passed out from all the marker fumes

Digital self portrait

So I just finished a self portrait digital painting. Unlike my normal “smooth” style of art (where I use an airbrush to shade literally everything) I decided to try something new! So I tried painting with a realistic flat brush, and only a realistic flat brush.

The first one is just a portrait I did and the second one is well, a more emotion filled edit of the first. This is gunna take some explaining so grab some popcorn.

The heart shaped hole in my chest represents my past failures at relationships and the void I feel in my chest. The fact that it’s melting shows how the hole is growing as time goes on.

The missing mouth represents how I never seem to know the right words to speak because I always seem to eventually accidentally hurt people with my words, making it so it’d be better if I didn’t speak at all.

The missing eyes represent how I try to look away and blind myself of my internal problems.

I totally didn’t get nostalgic for my old Aquamarine OC and redesign him as a different gem and base him off of Castiel from Supernatural. I totally wouldn’t do that
