i have been playing. A Lot. of animal crossing lately, so naturally i hit every protoframe* plus all my friends drifters and other wf ocs with the villagerification beam and they came out SO cute... i wanna invite them all to my island right now immediately tbh

*not including roathe bcs i didnt wanna draw him sorry #hater4life

A 3D model of Laz from a semi-recent game jam project of mine, Battlemage!

I've been a bit burnt on drawing recently, so 3D has served as a nice break from that. This model I specifically was a bit inspired by how Kingdom Hearts handles its characters while working on it, where instead of proper lighting the characters have all their shading painted into the texture manually, so I set him up to NOT be affected by lighting whatsoever! He is pure textures and vertex colors! If nothing else, I hope it's visible I had PS2 graphics on the mind.

Also, the textures were made using Affinity, a vector art program!! Wanted to share that fact.
