If his guestâs first question was rhetorical, Toto did not seem to notice. The other boy laughed, and so did he.
Totoâs mind reeled as he tried to think of the perfect game; there was Clue and darts and Twister, all set up and ready to play. Before he could make a decision, a second passenger stepped into viewâToto remembered seeing him at the pier, a time when talking was forbidden. He had noticed Bandit too, looking much the same as he did tonight. There was no better place for the three of them to cross paths again than Totoâs very own Pyjama Party.
âWelcome!â he said with a grand sweep of his arm. His voice was a little too loud, his motions a little too big; Toto was radiating energy.
âIâm Toto! You can shake my hand if you want!â
His coat billowed behind him as he spun to face the rest of the room; there were games in every corner and then some, but which ones did people play at parties like these? Toto looked over his shoulder at the boys.
âHey ⌠Itâs Party Time~! ⪠Get a snack! Choose a game!â
Bandit nodded his head just to confirm that he thought the party host was crazy. At least heâs honest about it!
Hey! Look what the bats dragged in! Itâs Vamp! Bandit thought he was a cool kid! How did he end up at a pyjama party with these two? Well, this definitely did get his mind off of things!
Bandit elbowed Vampâs side, âNice pants, I guess.â Bandit just wanted to point out his clothing attire. Vamp already announced he was the only one that followed dress code, but Bandit wanted to prove that he noticed it too! Kids like attention and being recognized, after all! Just to show Vamp a little bit more love, Bandit playfully rubbed his knuckles against the top of Vampâs head.
The attention was quickly drawn back to the host who welcomed himself and Vamp. He just radiates energy! Everything about him seemed a little over the top, his name must be something â oh, just Toto. Totoâs not a bad name. It fits, anyway.
Bandit echoed Totoâs phrase in his own voice,âItâs party time! Toto, Vamp, one of you pick out the game! I can crush either of you in any game you select!â
Whether or not Bandit was good at games, he didnât want to be showed up my someone younger than him! Thatâs not cool! Heâs got a reputation to uphold!
In the mean time, Bandit walked over to the makeshift snack table and grabbed a tortilla chip. He dipped it in salsa and then tossed it into his mouth.
âLook! Thereâs comfort food for when you lose!â
Well, Toto was certainly lively. He certainly didnât mind a party animal, but he didnât know anyone quite like this. As far as Vamp could tell, he looked a bit older than him, but with his attitude he seemed like an excited child.Â
âAt the very least things should be interesting with him around,â he thought to himself.
Bandit then proceeded to nudge him in the side and noogie him on the head. He seemed to be a touchy guy, though he was a bit on the rougher end. It gave him a big brother vibe, which Vamp didnât really mind, but it made him re-evaluate if he found him attractive or not. Itâs harder to find someone hot when they treat you like a younger sibling.
âLose? Yeah right! Youâll be the one eating your feelings after Iâm through with you.â Vamp boasted and popped some chips into his mouth. Not only did Vamp like games, he liked to win them.
As far as his options were concerned, darts were probably the least likely for him to succeed at, since he never played before, but how hard could it really be? It might be too simple, though. He was pretty decent at Twister, since he was a flexible guy, and he certainly didnât mind getting twisted up with other fit young men, but they might find it a weird choice. Clue was a game he got a lot of enjoyment out of, though it could easily be a case of âtoo soonâ given their current situation. Perhaps some other board game?Â
âEh, thereâs too many decisions! Toto, youâre the host. You can pick out something, right? I donât really mind what we play.â
